We had a very special experience when we explained to the owner that my husband had once lived in this house as a young child - before it had become a hotel. The owner was particularly enchanted by this and did everything to make our stay as agreeable as possible. Best notes for this lovely place, which is run with great professionalism and warmth! Beautiful location, great breakfast and a very welcoming host. We traveled early April for a couple days, luckily the weather was moderate cold and quite sunny. This property is a 20 min walk from the lake and in the heart of town, lot of restaurants close by. Highly recommend

A perfect location 2 mins walk to the village amenities, Beaumont Guest House far exceeded our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Simona who explained all we needed to know. Our room was just perfect, almost like a mini suite, overlooking a quiet court yard. All facilities were of the highest standard ….. the bed was huge and probably one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on! We opted for the cooked/hot breakfast which was lovely and more than set us up for our motorbike ride home.

The small amenities in the bathroom need to be checked more often.

The room was clean and the bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Smelt good too.

A very minor point was that I was woken up early by the daylight coming through the blinds. A blackout curtain option would have been nice. It’s a very minor point though, as the room was lovely and the bed was very clean and comfy.

We were made extremely welcome to what is a lovely property. It’s well located, quiet, very clean and lovely rooms. We opted for the full breakfast and we’re not disappointed. The quality of the food was excellent, especially the Cumberland sausage, and was a good start to the day.

One afternoon of rain, but it wouldn't be the Lake district without!!!

Just had a wonderful 4day stay at the Beaumont Guest House Windermere, Very efficient and friendly service made for an enjoyable stay.We will certainly recommend to our friends looking for a stay in the Lakes. All local amenities and transport services ideally situated making it very worthy of a 5 star accomodation.

The hosts make you feel extra welcome and give you a real tailor-made experience with great recommendations on the best things to do/see/go to in the region. The quality of the equipements is faultless (the mattress!) and the little personal attentions are lovely. The breakfast is a must, hearty, fresh and homemade. The location is also perfect: I was travelling by train, the station is a 10mn walk away though the town centre, and there are bus stops to reach other towns/lakes just 2mn away.

There is absolutely nothing not to like.

First the location is perfect, close to the town centre and all the attractions. Inside the property, the rooms are spacious and smell amazing. We just loved our stay here.
