I don’t know what they give their staff but I want some…all the staff from reception, restaurant and chamber maids, were so smiley and friendly, made you really feel welcome. They weren’t just doing their job, they truly welcomed us.

Th location of our room was by a fire exit, which was used regularly and disturbed my husband every night. Would be beneficial asking other people to keep quiet when going to their room. Bed was also not long enough for my husband. Fortunately I am deaf and short so not the same problem for me.

Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Had dinner at the hotel and it was also very good. We didn’t realise there was a pool at the hotel but it looked nice. We didn’t get around to trying the exercise room, though it was good they had those available.

Loved it.

The hotel is built around a secluded garden which makes you feel you are not stuck in your room if you don’t go out. Nice walk to coast through golf course. Bus stop outside. You can walk the whole East coast from there, or catch a bus one way. Had a very nice meal in the restaurant and breakfast is plentiful.

Parking a bit tight but that is everywhere on the beautiful island!!

Great location. Staff was so caring and very helpful especially Dianna . Hotel and rooms very clean. Lawn area for relaxing on the property was lovely . The view from our room was incredible! Breakfast was lovely, filling and Dinner delicious! Pool and Sauna a absolute treat. Bar area and service top notch! Highly recommend!! From BC , Victoria on Vancouver Island, Canada

Location is great - near bus routes to Gorey and St Helier plus short walk to Grouville bay. Staff friendly and helpful - we requested a ground floor room as mobility issues so had a room overlooking the gardens, very peaceful. Breakfasts very good with plentiful choice from a range of buffet selections and options for a full cooked breakfast too.

My only complaint, lack of information provided in the room, could do with more plug sockets and/or USB ports. A table and chair for comfortable laptop use or late takeaways.

I did not use the pool but looked lovely and well maintained, the garden for a light lunch was delightful and the food was excellent, the bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, always smiling, and eager to please.

Nothing really, parking a bit tricky at times but can’t be helped, would not stop us staying again.

Loved the “old school” vibes and the hospitality was so lovely, staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful, beats the well known chain hotels and will definitely stay again!

Some areas could do with a freshen up. The grout in our bathroom really needed cleaning and the sink waste cover was broken. A fresh coat of paint in the room would have been nicer. Fresh rather than tinned fruit at breakfast would have been better.

The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. Large bedroom with direct access to the courtyard. Good facilities: pool, games room, bar etc.

No catch-up TV, I.e. access to iplayers. Biscuits in the room for tea/coffee would have been nice. Little things only!

Excellent hotel, food nice chefs know what they are doing. Having seen several hotel that we'd previously looked at on line they were nothing like as good as Beausite.

English hotels are mostly quite old even if well maintained , but they offer a sweet mixture of tradition and charm .

Very good breakfast , very friendly staff , indoor pool is perfect for relaxing after a day sighseeing , though not big enough to swimm . Parking okay also , even if I was travelling by bike so no big need of parking space Gorey accessible by foot .
