It was in a lovely location, nice and private. Did hear a sound around us. Owner was really nice and polite. Made sure everything was okay for us.

Outside washing up area... would be fine in summer but little cold in winter.

Super clean cabin, friendly hosts, lovely little touches in cabin,very comfortable bed. Wonderfully warm clean hot tub. Bathroom modern & shower is great.

That we couldn’t bring the bed home with us as it was so comfortable!

Everything was immaculately set up and clean ready for our arrival, instructions were left for everything on site and nearby facilities. The fridge and bathroom were supplied with all the toiletries, towels and complimentary snacks and tea making facilities plus simple kitchen equipment. The hot tub was set up just right (even whilst it was raining thanks to the large umbrella covering it) and the whole cabin was private and temperature just right. Bed was also extremely comfortable! We also appreciated the welcome on arrival and free wi-fi. The location was quiet but convenient for nearby shops and pubs.

This log cabin was absolutely stunning,beautiful location,cosy,clean was just perfect for a chilled getaway.owner was always on standby would recommend this to anybody.we will definitely go again perfect

Only a minor thing the shelf right above the sink couldn’t lean over the sink just could do with a shelf to the side rather than across

It was small (perfect size) but cosy, perfect for a couple of days to relax. It was completely clean and had everything we needed, they even left some drinks like milk in the fridge. There were instructions on how to make good use of everything, very well explained. Louisa was attentive at all times to make sure everything was ok, very kind to us. Also the directions to the site were very clear and even ideas of nearby sites. We will definitely repeat again because we loved it!!!

Nothing!! All is catered for and more with it's peaceful surroundings.

Firstly Louisa and Dave are excellent hosts and a very nice family. We received all information on the property and surrounding area before we arrived, which was very helpful. The lodge is a very welcoming retreat with comfortable facilities and lovely peaceful surroundings. Excellent bed and shower facilities. The hot tub was a great added bonus. We will definitely look to go back for another relaxing break, thank you!! 😊

Brilliant spot to unwind, big comfortable bed with great facilities and an amazing hot tub. Louisa was so kind in helping me set up rose petals, chocolates and Prosecco as a surprise to my girlfriend before we got there, which I’m very thankful for.

we had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights over valentines. Everything about this lodge is so perfectly thought out. The hot tub was beautifully warm and relaxing and ready to use whenever we are.The lodge is private and isolated and at night we sat star gazing in the hot tub and then the next day watched the sunrise. we were also close to local walks. The hosts were very welcoming and available should there of been any problems. I would highly recommend this lodge.

The bed was so comfy, the cabin all in all was amazing! Would definitely stay again!! Both David and Louisa was very lovely and welcoming. The local are very polite. Such a quite place good for a relaxing weekend away.

They hosts literally thought of everything, little fold away chairs to eat a meal inside, local takeaway menus inside, bottle of milk in the fridge.. the bed was VERY comfy. Hot tub was amazing with star gazing aswell.

Perfect little getaway for couples or besties. The hot tub is a great addition, it really makes it special. The views are incredible and the hosts are charming. Would 100% recommend.
