There is nothing to dislike about the property.

After a long drive from northern England and feeling a little weary we arrived to find the Little Barn beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was warm and cosy and we immediately felt at home,the beautiful Christmas tree and decorations made us feel welcome. The barn has been tastefully converted, with some interesting features. The kitchen is very well equipped although a small freezer would be useful for longer stays. The main bathroom has an excellent walk in shower. The bedrooms have plenty of storage space and the beds oh so comfortable, we slept very well. The location is perfect, the pretty village of St Hilary is 10 minutes from Cowbridge which has always been a favourite of ours. An interesting Main Street with shops galore including Waitrose (am I allowed to mention that) numerous restaurants and pubs. Set in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, and with good access to the M4 there are numerous places of interest to visit. The cosmopolitan city of Cardiff, Penarth a lovely Victorian town where you can walk along the promenade and enjoy the views across the Bristol Channel. Beautiful clean beaches at Porthcawl and Ogmore and further afield the Gower Peninsula with its stunning coastline. The list is endless. From the time of booking, Lucy our host has been so helpful and very easy to communicate with. We wish we could have stayed longer and we will certainly return.

A dimmer on the living room lights would make it more cozy. Or 1 or 2 additional table or floor lamps.

Fantastic newly rebuild accomodation, really professional construction work! Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom, well equiped kitchen. And a lot of space! St. Hilary is a lovely small village with a very good restaurant. Cowbridge nearby is also a beautiful town, with lots of nice shops and a few good restaurants.

Self-catering, good instructions to nearest town for supplies. Ideal location for the family wedding we were attending at Coed Hills Art venue. Only stayed for two nights, so weren't able to take advantage of things to do locally. Ideal for two couples or as in our case, my elderly parents and myself. Everything on one level and parking right outside the door.

TV in front room did not have much of a choice of channels. The bedroom one had a far better choice so would have preferred that in the front room.

Beautiful barn conversion. Just a car drive from lots of attractions. If you wanted to walk, there was a pub in the village which did meals (not open every day). Cowbridge a short drive and lots of places to eat.

The whole experience staying at The Little Barn. The converted barn is just beautiful! High beam ceilings and very modern country feel to the whole apartment. It's just beautiful and so welcoming. Plenty of towels and extra bedding available. Well equipped kitchen area. Stunning bathroom with shower. The owners Ed and Liz are just amazing. It's been so lovely learning about the farm, thank you for taking the time to talk to us. We had 2 children with us and they were allowed to see and feed the animals on the farm. It was so humble being on a working farm with quite spectacular views. Close to the town of cowbridge and just 20 minutes drive from Barry Island beach. We definitely did not want to leave the barn and will most definitely be retuning. Thank you for such beautiful memories in such a short space of time. We can not recommend the little barn enough.

TV had very limited channels. Only BBC of the main channels. Would have liked fridge to have small freezer compartment. We were only staying for a couple of days so not really an issue but if we'd been staying for a week and cooking every day would have been. Would have appreciated more instructions left in the house. No idea how heating or log burner worked, didn't really want to keep phoning owner. Felt it was a bit overpriced.
