The property is quirky in decor which is partly why I chose it and it didn’t disappoint. My kids (11, 11, 14) were enthralled too! It was cleaned to a high standard, extras such as fans/heaters/blankets in the bedroom & it is walking distance to everything you would need & both bays. The owners put a treasure hunt together which the kids loved…a nice touch!

The stairs are very steep, I have terrible coordination and my mother in law is getting on so it was a bit of a struggle.

Perfect little spot for a stay in scarbados, right in the middle of town but tucked away down a quiet side street. Bedrooms were a really good size and comfortable. Helen and Nick were easy to work with and prompt with any responses to messages. We would definitely stay again if we're ever up that way again.

I was unlucky with on street parking probably due to the time we arrived but no fault of the property or the host.

The hosts Helen and Nick were very good with communicating prior arrival and their place is beautifully decorated. Very thoughtful treasure hunt for the kids was put in place that greatly helped after a long car journey with the kids and so wonderfully prompted the children to play board games instead of watching TV.

Was expecting an outdoor sign to indicate the name of the property. Number on the house is quite visible though. Minor issue for sure.

The bedroom needs blackout curtains to light in bedroom due to the lights in street outside bedroom window,the rooms where beautiful quirky but lots of things bigger dogs can knock over , the sofa was not comfortable to chill on .

If you are not confident at parking be aware it's a busy street and tight. If you can't parallel park learn. However we found an NPC a short walk away that was more secure and we were happy to leave it there during our stay.

Nice and clean. Good location you do not need to use a vehicle we walked everywhere easily with a 2 and 4 year old both on foot (no pram). Beds were super comfy. Bedrooms where really nice. Hosts where superb. Our kids loved all the nick nacks in the house and loved the quirkiness, my four year old was obsessed with the dog themed bedroom.

Beautiful house, loved the quirky decor, main bedroom amazing. The hosts left little treats for us and a little treasure hunt which 15 yr old enjoyed( never too old) very clean throughout and comfortable beds. Had a little issue with the WiFi but was sorted out no problem.Heating not as straight forward as it seemed not very warm but we were OK. Good area for all Scarborough. We walked but a taxi company round the corner if needed . Lots of information in the booklet for eating out and things to do.We arrived on the train and only 10 minutes walk. Would recommend and go back.

The location was great, a very short walk to the centre but not at all noisy at night time. The house itself was fantastic, everything we needed and more. Clean, comfortable and a real home from home. Lovely little personal touches too 😊

Absolutely everything, we visit Scarborough regularly and this is always our first choice but is hardly ever available, so if you have it your lucky. I forgot to leave a message in the book but you cannot fault anything or the lovely couple who run it they go above and beyond.

As outlined by others, the stairs are quite steep and narrow but this was clearly stated on the property info before booking so individuals could make on informed decision. It was also reiterated in the ‘welcome’ letter.

The property was ideally located, spotlessly clean and full of character. A real gem. Nearby parking available.

We had a nightmare parking due to a closed road and we couldn’t top up the 2 hour parking on Ringo as the welcome letter had said we could so had to move, but the property was all fantastic.

Owners were great communicators and very helpful allowing us to arrive and leave our bags early and also looking after them on our last day. House and beds were very comfortable. House was also very cental.

Only 2 hours parking available on the road ended up being expensive although council parking was free until march elsewhere. Next time we stay we will definitely move the car to the long stay car park. This doesn't take anything away from the hosts or the property.

Lots of personal touches provided by the hosts. Super clean, welcoming and cosy. Host was very helpful and responds quickly to any enquiries.

Great relaxing stay. Lovely home close to everything. Lovely touches by the hosts with treats for our young boy and also our dog. 10/10 stay would definitely book again if going back.
