Only one pillow each and quite thin. Cereal boxes had not been left for us so we had to ask the pub. Cereal bowls were dusty and I brushed away several cobwebs from the ceiling above the bed. Towel rail was overly hot but we reported and it was fixed. Can hear traffic from the adjacent road.

Ideal location on Icknield Way, comfy mattress and clean sheets, excellent shower, food available in adjacent pub. Good communication from hosts (not run by the pub). Pretty clean except cobwebs in corners. Right next to pub garden so can imagine it would be noisy on certain nights / times of year but not a Tuesday in April! Very friendly people running the pub who went out of their way to bring us a takeaway after their chef called in sick so there was no pub food. TV good with Netflix and other apps.

TV… approx 50” flat screen on wall perfect… if it worked!.. turned on but impossible to watch as no channels can be kept as such poor connection… everything on the tv but nothing you could watch without it fuzzing & disappearing most frustrating!. lovely tv that you cant watch seems a lot of effort & cost to put the tvs in the chalets but cant use it.

loved the decoration the flooring the bathroom the furniture all of it was lovely, clean but cobwebs. loved the continental food in fridge. Restaurant had a singer live a young he was so talented we spent the evening & the jerk tapas was amazing the coconut prawns wow.. lovely little olace would definitely return

The chalets are not very sound proof and we had some rather noisy neighbours arrive at the site in the early hours of the morning on the second nights stay, which disturbed our sleep The bed was a little too firm for my partners liking but the staff were very helpful and obliged us with a spare duvet to use as a mattress topper. The TV was stuck in some kind of "Shop" mode which displayed an advertising panel on one side (however this was not a major aggravation as we had really gone to relax and unwind not watch lots of TV).

The chalet was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We were provided with all the facilities we required for a short stay. The location was perfect for us being so close to the countryside and also with a pub/restaurant on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The information for checking in and out was straight forward and we had no problems. Pegsdon is a lovely location with some beautiful countryside to explore.

Everything was fine, seriously, except for the breakfast! I was under the impression that there would be a 'continental breakfast'. I liked the fact that I would be able to have breakfast without stopping off elsewhere before I started a days work on site. As it was, there was a tiny box of cereals, no fresh milk (despite there being an empty operational fridge), no fruit, no orange juice, no croissant, no rolls, no bread, nothing on which to put some jam/marmalade that was actually provided! There were Yorkshire tea bags and grotty instant coffee. Overall impression spoiled because of the lack of breakfast!

Everything was fine, seriously, except for the breakfast! The chalet was comfortable and the shower was excellent. I fell asleep to the TV so that must also have been great too!

The only down side is there is a smart tv without access to the extras you can only get channels 1-10 unable to connect to internet, Netflix YouTube etc.. luckily there were some good films on. The other down side is there is no local shop so taking snacks/amenities with you is a must.

What a great location if you are looking for a short country get away, the facilities were more than expected and the staff are attentive to all your needs. The room was lovely and homely and the very clean. I will defiantly be returning.

Shocking visit. We received so many messages and txt's not to turn up before check-in at 2 pm and when we did arrive at 3.30pm the room had not been cleaned as the company cleaner had not turned up. We walked past the door and looked in the window to see it had clearly not been cleaned. The bar staff were cleaning the rooms and it took 15 minutes to finally get them to get us into a room that had apparently been cleaned. THIS WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. It was the fault of Eco lets. Very unprofessional from Eco lets. The room was in a shocking state; hairs on the pillowcases, hairs on the bedsheets so, we slept on top of the covers, 1 cereal bowl for 2 people?, dirty cups, nail clippings and dirt on the floor of the wardrobe and please do not even ask me what we found in the toilet brush and holder! We do not blame The View Staff, they are not cleaners. Eco lets could have messaged us to let us know but, they did not. After the 15+ letting agreement messages, email verifications, check-in and check out emails, so excited to see you messages, they could have called to let us know this would happen but, nothing!!! We only decided to stay because there was no other accomodation available in the area for our son's graduation ball and we had to get ready and leave for 5pm to get to the venue on time. I imagine Eco lets will reply with some excuse but, for those seasoned travellers who have left poor reviews, they will know to avoid this place at all costs no matter what the excuse
