Lovely, very clean, conftuble room. The location is fantastic, close to the beach, as well as to the train which takes to central town in few min.

Good size twin room with ensuite. Everything worked well and the shower was particularly good. The bed was really comfy. The fridge in the room was silent and very useful for us to use for our own food. Close to Hopper bus stop and local store. Owners were friendly and helpful.

I had a really comfortable single room, small but perfect for me! Everything I needed was provided and I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and from my window I had a beautiful few of the sea.

Good place to stay, especially if you planning on travelling around cornwall. Just what you need plus they stock up the frige for free which is good.

I should have booked restaurants for meals quite early on as it was a busy period. Luckily there is a Tesco nearby and I was able to make use of the fridge and purchase food for dinners as well.

I had a nice sized room at the front of the house. i was concerned that it might be noisy, but it was very quiet. There is a small fridge in the room stocked with juice, milk, yogurt and cereal for breakfast as well as eggs and an egg boiler, which was a really nice touch.

Jan and Pete made us feel very welcome, right from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left! A lovely place to stay. We had a room at the front, with a sea view. The room was very clean with everything you expect. There is NO breakfast included, but there is a fridge in the room that is restocked everyday with yogurt, milk, fruit juice, muesli bars etc, and cereals on the table. There is a train into St Ives about 5 minutes walk and £1 train fair! A stunning Spanish restaurant, 2 minutes walk. Bus stop is by the restaurant...£1.60 into St Ives. Overall, we had a lovely stay at Beechwood House. Thank you, Jan and Pete...see you in September.

No facilities for ice but that didnt spoil my stay

The room was great and very clean. The owners made us very welcome, and they were so helpful. Adequate breakfast in the fridge, which was topped up every day it was great. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice and cozy room and lovely owners of the place. The breakfast is simple but good and the distance to the beach and also St Ives are managable for everyone who doesn't mind a nice walk.

I liked everything about it , the only thing I could think of improvement would be to provide cooked Breakfast even if on a smaller scale of choice as there’s nothing around on the immediate area that we can stop to have breakfast There is a convenience store and a pharmacy right next to it.

The room was small (we knew that when we booked the 'compact double', but we had to get used to it because the room in our previous hotel was large). Breakfast was nice (a.o. cereals, fruit juice, milk, water and eggs to be prepared with the egg-cooker) but you had to eat it in the room/on the bed which is not what we are used to.

Location in a quiet area, 10-15 minutes walk to train station and Carbis Bay beach, bus stop for St Ives and other Cornwall destinations in front of the B&B. Shop (small supermarket) next door. Nice and friendly owners. Small issue with door hook hanging loose was immediately fixed after we reported it.

Hospitality was 100%. Comfy bed with a sunny bright room. Great location, close to train and bus. Very close to a convenience store and pharmacy and a great little Spanish restaurant. Highly recommend a stay here...

it was abit noisy by the road and it’s quite far from St Ives.

the staff was so thoughtful and lovely. I even got Easter eggs and a card for Easter!
