How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The bed frame is a bit flimsy so every movement you’ll feel the whole bed moving, but the mattress is very comfortable. So it’s something ignorable.
We like that it’s clean and spacious. Colm who owns the place is very nice and accommodating.

Bed could be a bit bigger but that’s it
Beautiful apartment that was spacious and easy to function. Clean and bright Colm was lovely and checked in on us via WhatsApp to make sure everything was comfortable for us

The bedroom was a bit dusty when we checked in, possibly from the connected air well and grille. WiFi reception in the bedroom is a bit spotty. The sofa bed protector had some stains.
Very convenient location, easy check in instructions and flexible check in timings. There were ample beddings and linen provided and good appliances: toaster oven, hair dryer, refrigerator. There was also coffee and tea bags, which was great! It was a ground floor unit. I liked that we could walk about 15 minutes to the Waterfront Hall for our conference.

Lovely modern decor and Colm was so helpful couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Good location just 10min from city centre on the bus which stopped right near the appartment

Everything was great, Colm is a very nice and helpful host. The city center is a bit farther but the bus stop from the bus takes to the center is about 2 min walk. Also Lanyon Train station is in the near from where you can reach other places around Belfast. The kitchen is well-equipped and the whole place is very tidy and clean.

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Spacious and well appointed with homely touches Quiet area only 10/15 minutes walk to City Centre and Connswater shopping centre 10 minutes walk away to pick up those little bits you forgot to bring 😀 Host, Colm, is amazing.

The place was generally clean, but I did keep finding hairs in the bedroom and bathroom. The bathtub outside can not be used as it would be freezing.
The apartment was cosy, and the location was really great.

Shopping is only further.
Good place for 4 people, and easy to travel to citycenter. Clean and nice new place. Owner Colm is really supportive and caring. There is a nice and delicious Thai/Laosian take away restuarant within 100 m , so easy to have dinner.

The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Check in and out were very flexible. The property was in a good location within a 25 minute walk to city and 10 minutes from train station. Apartment facilities very very good.

All relatively minor and constructive feedback only. TV was only via the Internet so not plugged into an aerial which made it a bit tricky to fugure out / tune. No curtains/ceiling blinds in the bedroom - good for people who like to be woken up by natural light though. Outdoor bath gets dirty if it rains / gets windy. No heating / option to warm the apartment up, although I didn't ask!
Very stylish with all the mod cons expected. Easy access and spacious. 30 min walk to city centre. Excellent host who was very communicative.

Perhaps some essentials such as tea, sugar etc as arriving late into Belfast it would have been lovely! Although there was a Guinness left for us!
Very bright and airy, well presented, and very attentive host with great recommendations on what Belfast had to offer. Perfect distance away from the centre, easily walkable. We stayed for 3 nights and it was very good value for money. We hope to be back again! Amazing city and apartment.

The rainy weather! This was the only issue the host could not solve for us. How disappointing!😁.
The location was really nice and the apartment was of a good size for a family of four. The host was always reachable and handled whatever issues we had promptly and satisfactorily. Accessibility to public transport, grocery shops, drugstores, etc is also great. We indeed had a nice stay here.

The fact i couldnt stay longer, i could of easily lived at this property 👍
The property was lovely and clean, the owner was only a text message away and responded very quickly to any questions i had, the beds and sofa bed was really comfortable and clean, the whole experience was very smooth and comfortable! Exactly what i paid for
