We had a twin room with our own bathroom. While the room was technically clean, it had a very shabby feel to it. The bathroom door was peeling off and could have done with a repaint. The pillows were too small and slightly uncomfortable. Also, there are some bars around the hostel that can get pretty loud during the night, especially during the weekend

The location was great, close to the central bus station with connections to both airports, as well as to the train station. There are many restaurants around to have dinner/lunch and the cafe they recommend for breakfast has a good variety of meals at affordable prices

It looks like it hasn’t changed since the 70s. Could use a bit of renovation work, especially in the bathroom.

The staff was really nice and helpful.

The street is noisy and the bathroom has no towels and soap.

The room is spacious and located close to the centre. The staff is friendly. There is free parking at the back of the hostel. For a short stay it's ok.

There is no wifi, and also mobile internet can be slower, if you are in the top of the house. In the kitchen is not working microwave and kettle, this should be fixed.

I liked the location. The room was good for a few nights. The bed was quite comfortable, and we got towels, when we asked for them.

Our Hostel bathroom a bit disappointing, could do with updating. Main issue was noise from outside pub and traffic as went on until early hours of morning.

Hostel in a Great location as easy to walk to major city sites. Causeway Cafe next door was lovely with a choice of tasty foods for most tastes including specialist diets - Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan. Both hostel & cafe staff friendly and helpful. Beds were just about Ok. Also Found a great restaurant not far away Darcy's which also served fab food.

We stayed in a private room. - The water from the shower was not draining properly. We could not take a shower longer than 1 min due to that. - We also missed some kind of storage space in the rooms (shelves/ hooks/closet/etc) for our stuff. - No hostel atmosphere.

Location was good. And the restaurant next door had delicious food for affordable prices and super nice staff.

Why place a man in a room that had two females in it? In a hostel this size there must have been another room with men in it where he could have been placed. Men are often big and intimidating and they often snore loudly and many of us ladies would prefer not to be stuck in a room with an unknown man Mixed dorms are always cheaper so a compromise requires us to save money by sharing sleeping arrangements with men. Its not a great idea is it? Please hostels, try to avoid this if possible. Many women who solo travel are vulnerable. Sort it out ffs

1/The bunk beds were very uncomfortable, far too low, narrow and the mattresses were too soft for the back. 2/The metallic wardrobes are terribly noisy for a bedroom. 3/Pegs were missing, so it was not possible to hang the coats. 4/Bulbs had too low power for the room.

1/The location was excellent. 2/The cafe for breakfast was convenient and the breakfast was superb and economic. 3/Price/bed was excellent

Well-located, accessible by public transport or by foot to the main station and downtown area. Friendly staff. It was ok for the price level in Belfast. It is a simple youth hostel but it was good for a short stay.

Very clear instructions on room facilities emailed before our arrival, however I think a non slip shower mat should be there

Staff at reception absolute gentlemen, simple check in procedure completed in 5 mins max, our bags had been safely stored beforehand, however the 13.30 check in was essential for us as we had a 3pm function in the North of the city, I was really happy with the price we paid for our ensuite room.

We had issue with a smell in the room that came from the carpet. We had to leave the window open most of the time. Not sure if we would have managed to do this in the winter. There was some noise in the corridor at night which was not great.

We stayed in a twin room which is efficient. There is a sink in the room. Staff were fantastic. They helped us in every way, from swift checking in to providing information about the accommodation and the nearby amenities. Location is excellent as in Belfast City centre and across from a bus tour company. Breakfast in the Causeway Café next door was fantastic. Staff at the café are wonderful too. The free tea and coffee facility is a great idea.
