It would be nice to have satellite channels on the tv. Plus resite the TV set so it's nearer to the bed.

The hotel staff. Always polite willing to help when needed. Nothing was to much trouble All they seem to be eager to do was to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Would stay in this hotel again.

The room was spacious nice and comfy, good size bathroom too and all the amenities you needed. Staff were very friendly gave all the information needed on surrounding areas to eat etc too

I've stayed at the hotel numerous times and all the other rooms I've been in have been great, but in this one, the bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together so you could feel the middle when you turned over. Although there are black out curtains, one of them wasn't wide enough, so the light came straight through.

Room was clean and tidy, staff were lovely. Shower was powerful and location is great.

The room details say soundproofed, but ours definitely wasn't and we could hear everything in the hallway and adjoining rooms. Decore is aged, although the suites do look modernised.

Good sized room and there was minimal noise from outside the hotel. We took dinner in the restaurant, which was very good and reasonable value with one or two unusual but tasty dishes. The breakfast was great. Good parking provision.

Great location near the station and city centre. Very well decorated and our room was really spacious and comfortable. Bar area very comfortable and good atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.

A previous guest had programmed the TV to come on at 1am giving us a very loud and most unwelcome wake-up call!

The room was excellent- very spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was superb and staff very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay and we would definitely come again. Slightly old-fashioned in feel the hotel retains an elegant charm that is missing from so many chain hotels.

Breakfast was better the previous year as it was served and ordered from your table, this year was a buffet served by the staff portions were tight and most items were dried out so will probably not go for it again

The hotel has a number of meeting rooms so filled up quickly for meetings the next day. After being deluged with delegates, the service at breakfast for the more leisurely-minded visitor was accordingly a bit variable although the quality remained high. We ate twice in the hotel during our stay. The first night was excellent but the second was more variable.

A pleasant individually-owned hotel very well positioned for the station and for the historical attractions of Leicester. Public rooms were comfortable and roomy and the edroom that we had was spacious and comfortable. There is a large car park that is free to residents. Generally the staff were cheerful and attentive, particularly in the bar area.
