Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sticky bathroom light switches, one of the packets of biscuits had already been opened, one biscuit eaten and packet resealed, radiator wouldn’t turn off - thermostat didn’t seem to work. Noisy music and people in the bar downstairs. Room 22 is definitely not a quiet room!
It’s a lovely little hotel in a very convenient location. I was really pleased I could park in a secure garage. Very nice room with a clean and new looking bathroom. Nice to have a bowl of fruit and some sherry! The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome.

United KingdomCondition of the bedroom, in need of a major overhaul. Single glazed metal windows(one cracked) grubby settee, tired bathroom and paint chipped off door.. The state of my car after parking under a tree outside the Hotel(try to use their garage parking offered by the Hotel if you can, it's not that much more than Ringo charges if you arrive before 6pm)
Location for visiting students in the University accommodation in Clifton. Restaurant and bar area is very nice. Good breakfast offering, especially the granola pots! Using the lift, very unique experience.....Nice touches with fresh fruit, Bristol sherry, loose leaf tea and fresh coffee with milk in the fridge.. Comfortable bed and good pillows.

United KingdomThere were a few small issues with the room. These should be relatively easy to sort out. At checkout I reported to the staff at the desk and they offered a 10% reduction for the stay. So a negative turned into a positive.
I had one of the suites at Berkley Square. The room was very confortable and pretty luxurious for the cost. My Mum stayed in the hotel (it was my birthday!) and it was nice for her to come over for an evening drink and also breakfast. Excellent location also.

United KingdomThe room was hot when I arrived but fortunately I opened the window wide - though I guess that's better than being cold! A couple of very minor details about the room but I informed reception.
I stay here regularly when I come to Bristol about 3 times a year in the past couple of years. Its close to where I want to be and its quiet. Staff always helpful and friendly, breakfast always good - great choice of freshly cooked breakfasts as well as buffet bar with all the usual items - and they catered for my dietary needs. Gave me a quiet room though it was quiet anyway. (Staff always considerate in letting me know if there is a function on which might be noisy and offer me a quiet room). Room has all the basics that I need + some little extras like the sherry,fruit, and biscuits! I just like staying here.

Location was excellent, underground parking was good. Room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nice touches in the room like fruit and toiletries. Staff were friendly and I was kept well informed prior to my stay.

Nice hotel, rooms were good and clean. I had a one person room which was not that big but good for one night. The restaurant was great. very good and with a discount for hotel guests.
