Only one thing and that was 2 of us had a risotto for a meal and it was a bit tasteless.

Lovely bar area. Bedrooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Great to have a mini sitting area in the rooms. This is our 2nd stay and we will be back.

I have stayed here before and, as always ,everything was more than good because everyone was always so helpful and pleasant. Breakfasts especially good and dining with friends really excellent. Also seemed informal and relaxed despite being very efficient.

Parking can be a bit of a problem as hotels car park is very tight, it on street parking is usually available nearby overnight and hotel provides a disc to cover 2 hours of daytime parking.

Location perfect for exploring Hexham. Food very good.rooms spacious and comfortable.

Having stayed a number of years ago in a fairly lack lustre establishment we were surprised and pleased. The room we stayed in was modern and fresh with everything feeling like new. Plenty of room and full of touches like quality teas and a full bottle of water. A relative, also staying said the difference from years ago was fantastic.

The only thing for us was our room was a little dark but everything else was perfect.

The decoration, the cleanliness, the ambience. The Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble! Food in the restaurant was excellent and a very good breakfast the next morning!

Parking was a little tricky; they have a car park that is very small so limited space and the on-street parking outside is a max of 2 hours Monday - Saturday 8 am-5 pm. We managed to get a space in the car park and then after that the parking restrictions on the street didn't apply so we were able to park.

Hotel location was great - right in the centre of town and a short walk to everything. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean. Our standard room was very nice and what we expected for a standard. The pillows were a little firm, so didn't sleep very well, but that is a personal preference rather than an issue with the room. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was really good. There is a lovely selection of cooked options and a lovely buffet to choose from as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we wanted to stay in Hexham.

Classic beauty of a hotel with ample rooms and furnishings. Great staff. Quiet. One of the more comfortable beds experienced during a 4 week tour.
