Room did not have a fridge. Parking was a long way away and inconvenient to the room for luggage transfer.

Dinner menu was limited and didn’t have much in the way of healthier choices . No salads for example . One item left me very surprised - macaroni cheese, chips and garlic bread - lemon, lemon and lemon , strange combination! I have arthritis and found the bed much too hard for me to be comfortable . Woke up with pain each morning .

The hair dryer is in a difficult-to-use place - maybe someone on the team should try using it to see it from a guest’s point of view. Understand hairdryers might be appropriated but is there a better way?

Parking on the property was good. The restaurant and bar were good. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The room we had was excellent. It was large, very comfortable and had a great shower. We ate in the restaurant each evening. The restaurant staff were lovely.

A sizeable hotel that seemed to cater manly for groups. It was fine for my needs (bed only, no meals). A great bed, big TV (but quality of reception occasionally poor) and everything clean. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Bar staff not quite so good.

Nothing wrong with the hotel, really good but the buses were confusing because two companies operate, the local is excellent but Stagecoach are the other and when we used them they didn't make it clear that the ticket wasn't transferable.

Lovely hotel, outside of the town but reasonably good public transport right outside. Didn't eat or drink here we were too busy elsewhere. Comfortable, warm and clean, a bit hectic at checking in due to a large party just before us, not a major issue.

The hotel was superb and so was the staff and the room. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Nice quiet location which is ideal at the end of a working day. The restaurant was amazing and so was the food. The staff are very attentive and make you feel welcome.

The breakfast could be improved in terms of quality but was not terrible. The coffee machine was very good though.

The bedroom was very spacious, warm and confortable and overall the room and bathroom were great. The breakfast room was very pleasant with a good view and a lot of light. The hotel location is also in a pleasant quiet area.

Short story: customer service is appalling. Long story: Upon arrival late at night (tired), receptionist tried to swipe my card more than 5 times to capture the details, was eventually unsuccessful, and did not show much empathy to us by holding us there at the reception desk for a long time unnecessarily (despite us having booked and paid for fully in advance). Cleaners turned the label outside our door in an attempt not to service our room, and we had to ask them and the receptionists explicitly every single day to service our room. Vacuuming in our room was inconsistent (sometimes happening, sometimes it did not), depending on the cleaner. We went in and out of the hotel several times, and no receptionist has ever greeted us, not even once, despite us greeting them.

Excellent breakfast with a large selection of both cooked and cold food and fruit. The free parking that looks well protected is a bonus. For the evening, the restaurant has not a large menu, but what they serve is well prepared and tasty.
