All very good except for no room cleaning service at all. No toilet roll replacement, dirty towel replacement, tea coffee milk replacement. Still not provided when asked for!

Where was the bar? I expected draught beer to be sold only to find bottles of beer at extortionate prices. Very disappointing.

There was an instance when i had an evening meal and i had cleared with reception that my meal would be included on the room bill. However, the kitchen staff told me i had to clear it with reception all over again. The reaction i got from reception was this was done and why was i checking this? It appears from a customer point of view that maybe? the two departments need to communicate better or was i just unlucky? The fact is i shouldn't have had to to this, having already done so earlier. So a communication faux pas

The hotel was pretty good. Staff were friendly and were available to help. Apart from that one communication issue between depts, they were spot on. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Location spot on. Really positive.

There could be improvements with the shower rooms as they are quite tired. It will be a bonus when the grill/diner next door is reopened.

The best thing about our stay was the attentive staff on duty. Leanne and Chloe were very knowledgeable about the area and helpful. It was extremely hot and we were provided with extra fans. Nothing was too much trouble for Chloe on reception as she helped us with a big smile. Thank you.

We requested a different room as the shower area was cracked and had black mould on, the room we were moved to had the same issue but was slightly cleaner

The hotel decor was tired and in need of a refresh - our shower was old, neither of us chose to use it WIFI reception wasn't great either

The hallways are looking very shabby and really need a makeover. Even a serious clean may make a huge difference. We had dinner on Friday night. The burgers were not great. The patties seemed to have been microwaved and were very strange. Based on the dinner, we opted to eat out for the rest of the meals.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We requested an inter leading room and they tried to accommodate the request however it wasn’t to be so we had to make do with two rooms on the same floor.

As per other reviews - could do with updating, but didn't affect the stay.

Reception staff, kitchen staff .... extremely helpful and friendly, could not fault them at all. Would definitely stay again because of the friendly welcome .... makes all the difference.

Only complaint not really a complaint was our room had been freshly painted and strong smell of paint fumes .

Breakfast was great plenty of choice, staff very friendly, room was lovely and big. Reception staff amazing Lorna was very helpful a lady who does enjoy her job. The following morning on Sunday we rang down to reception and a gentleman answer ed who was very polite and said we could extend our room until 11am. Will definitely be stopping again , this is our 2nd visit and hasn't disapointed. Many thanks to all

Would be good to get a lift installed. My mother in law has bad knees and struggled to get up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

It is conveniently close to the Motorway, but that does mean you can hear the road noise all the time.

Only looking for a cheap family room and it fitted the bill perfectly. It was cheap, clean, had comfy beds, had tea making facilities and a nice hot shower. Checked-in before arrival, so the processes of check-in and out were very efficient, with the staff on reception being friendly and helpful.
