Heating poor in bathroom, noisy piano in restaurant on 1st night.

The staff - lovely, nothing too much trouble, especially Paris. Comfy bed, lots of hot water. Dog friendly room. Piano in restaurant cancelled for 2nd night. Main courses superb. Breakfast choice.

I expected the room to be a bit bigger, but no issue at all. I would not mind a small welcome treat for our dog - but again not a problem. We enjoyed the stay.

Very nice house and the room along with breakfast facility. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious and rich food. No stress, travelling with a dog. Lovely treats such as a welcome drink or packed lunch. Thank you - we had great time!

The hotel accepts dogs and are friendly to dogs, but this is not a dog focused/friendly hotel. We will stay again because its a great place but we will leave the ESS at home.

If you are a walker the location is great, there are a number of full day walks straight from the hotel and the food on an evening is amazing.

It was great nothing to complain about. The only comment is that dogs are made welcome but it would be good if there was a small area where they could eat with you. Mine were fine in the car but I couldn't leave them in the car if it was hot. I did see someone with a dog in a greenhouse.

Very good welcome on arrival. Comfy room with outside access ideal for staying with dogs. Beautiful location. Tea making facilities and drinks replenished each day. Complimentary drinks in the fridge and packed lunches provided. Evening meals and breakfasts very good. Gluten free options available. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.

I arrived late at night, so I didn't have time to air out the room before I needed to sleep. It was stuffy and hot. I was offered a fan but it never arrived. I opened all the windows, which helped cool it after about 40 minutes but I had to wait for it to cool before I could sleep comfortably, which meant staying awake later than I would have liked.

The breakfast was quite nice - fresh fruits, yogurts, juices, and a small selection of hot foods as well. The room was very clean and spacious, with a spotless bathroom. The setting is lovely - rural and peaceful with a number of good walks within a short distance of the village. The staff were friendly and cheerful and very accommodating of my late arrival.

Prefacing this with we are DEFINITELY going back Service needs a little work - it wasnt bad it was just uncoordinated Value for Money - I think it may be that i booked last minute - accomodation price seemed a little high Spongey Pillows! Stair carpet in the rear part of the main house needs attention

Dinner was excellent - good flavours and very good value for money Nice wine list Breakfast was good quality. Portions were small. Lovely airy spacious room despite being in the eaves Good quality mattress and bed linen Superb gardens out side the restaurant, lovely place to relax with a glass of wine Incredibly peaceful place to be Random pub at the bottom of the drive if one fancies a change of scene

If we had to say something it would be that the food in the restaurant is a little expensive for the amount you get. We were still a bit hungry

eautiful accommodations were provided! Having a large bed and beautiful views, our accommodation was very roomy. The bathroom is spacious and has a separate shower, a large bath and twin basins. Everything in the room and bathroom was very clean and fresh, and there was tea, coffee, fresh milk and hot chocolate for us to use. The room was incredibly quiet and calm at night with no noise coming from anywhere. The staff are just lovely, very welcoming and friendly.
