Suzzane is so friendly, & welcomed us. Room was fabulous & spacious, as was the bathroom. Unbelievable choice for the Continental Breakfast 😀

Very spacious with a separate kitchen, bath and shower in the spacious bathroom and a big comfortable lounge with dining table.. Suzanne was the perfect host and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was a good selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, jams, croissants and toast with coffee and tea that was all self service. The location was perfect with a walk straight from the house into the hills and the town 5 minutes walk away with a few good pubs and restaurants. We would recommend the Kings Arms pub for food, real ale and friendly staff and locals,The Sawaddee Thai restaurant and Berry's for tea and cake. Suzanne's house was one of the best we've stayed in and we would highly recommend it and Church Stretton for a stay.

It was near enough to the centre but really quiet and also it felt like you had your own apartment as the whole floor was yours. Suzanne was really welcoming, the room and bathroom was spacious and has everything you needed. The breakfast was great too, you could help yourself and there was a good choice. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Church Stretton.

Lack of oven and hob may be an issue for some though not in our case. Only terrestrial freeview channels; again not a problem for us. As you can probably guess, I'm really struggling to find anything we didn't like or thought could be improved.

The facilities and layout were excellent with an en-suite bathroom and separate kitchen. A high standard of decoration and scrupulously clean. Comfortable bed & sofa to relax. Toiletries supplied along with soft towels and lots of little extras that made for a special stay. Lovely warm rooms. Kitchen well stocked equipment-wise (microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge) but no oven or hob. The supplied breakfasts were probably the best we've ever eaten or seen with plenty of fresh fruit, yoghuts, orange juice and (my favourite) real ground coffee! Decent wi-fi (10 Mbps). We've stayed in a few 10/10 places but this warrants 11/10 if not more. Only 100 metres from the railway station and 10 minutes or less walk into Church Stretton.

What a beautiful apartment. Suzanne, our host, was extremely friendly and welcoming. The apartment is just beautiful, the highest standard, and impeccably clean. The breakfast fairy arrived each morning with an array of fruits and cereals to choose from. Suzanne goes the extra mile to make this a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back 👌

What a surprise was not expecting so much. Very spacious and comfortable. Big bath room , plus another toilet and separate kitchen. Had a good nights sleep, bed comfy and room dark and quiet. The bathroom has a bath and a shower and it is so clean. There is everything you need, exceptionally thoughful owners. Went into the kitchen and there was a whole selection of breakfast items ( had not heard anyone prep this) Close to the town and all amenities. Just wonderful. Photo is of some the breakfast choice.

This was absolutely one of the best stays I've ever had - anywhere. The room was spotless, yet comfortable and welcoming. The hosts are amazing, and you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the room too. If you're planning on staying in church stretton, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend staying at Birchwood house.

Everything was perfect!!

We loved everything about our stay. Our hosts, Suzanne, Mark and doggy Max could not have been more welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to make time to find us a non muddy walk, complete with written instructions and a map! Breakfast was plentiful and there was an amazing selection of food. We liked being able to sit at the table in our room to eat this. The location was perfect....just a short walk from the station, local shops and restaurants. We ate in the King's Arms and the Thai restaurant, and would highly recommend both. The house is located in a quiet, peaceful area. The room was warm, and the bed super comfy. The bathroom was huge! We couldn't fault this lovely place, and will definitely return.

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything. A fantastic property managed by a couple who clearly know how to go the extra mile. There are lovely touches throughout the room which are subtleties picked up through either understanding the needs of their clients or from their own personal experiences when staying away.
