Only downsides were the tassimo coffee machine only had milk pods so couldn’t actually use it, and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work meaning we had to open the window (was quite windy and chilly while taking a shower!)

Our apartment (No. 4) was located on the third floor with no lift. Not a problem for us but could be a worry for the less mobile. Apartment door lock was difficult to operate.

This is an excellent property and a pleasure to stay in. Large combined kitchen/living space, very clean and well equipped. Clean, good sized bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Very comfortable queen sized bed and effective easy to use heating in all rooms. Central location, with easy walk to major attractions. Dedicated on-site parking a plus.

Only something to potentially think about would be to maybe have a shower screen so that you don't have to use the squeedgy to tidy up the water residue.

The location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic. The actual apartment itself is stunning! It was extremely clean and was perfect for our night away, I'm actually sad we didn't stay longer. We will definitely be returning for another visit. The hosts are wonderful and we received personalised messages to let us know our apartment was ready earlier than expected and they were very accommodating with the parking.

Everything was great Only thing we would have liked to have been advised of a place to take our rubbish. There was a bin in kitchen and shower room and but we actually removed ours every day and found a bin down the street. If we were told where we could leave it in the building that would have been nice. Not a big deal though.

there wasn’t anything that we didn’t like really it was a lovely apartment, the only thing I would suggest would be the use of a full size ironing board as it was rather tricky trying to iron a long dress on the small board & maybe some vinegar in the cupboard for fish & chips with it being in Blackpool, but other than that it was perfect.

Both the communal area & our apartment smelt lovely on our arrival & it was lovely & clean & spacious.

Nothing could have been better, everything is thought about and you can tell the owners know what they are doing and ultimately care about their guest experience.

This is my second stay with Blackbird however in a different apartment. Everything about this place is quality. Everything works and everything has been thought about, even down to a door stop against the lovely wooden beams to stop the door banging it. Whoever renovated this building did so with care, practicality and especially an eye to detail. The property is also both modern and cosy, it is a perfect place to stay and hard to believe it's in Blackpool.

I emailed 4 times without a reply. The booking receipt looked like there were only two adults. I queried this twice and asked whether bedding was needed for the sofa bed. Plus I didn’t think the balance had left my bank account so I emailed to check. I’m back home now and non of my emails were replied too.

Hosts are really helpful. I left my daughters coat in the apartment and they have been in touch and said are they sending it back to me, 5 minute walk from Blackpool tower and coral island. The apartment was spotless and big enough for the 4 of us. Will definitely be booking here again
