The site the house is on is pitch black at night. It was very difficult to find the house as we arrived at night. This isn't the hosts fault but the actual site should install some lighting to make movement in the dark much easier.

Easy to get to places local. Accommodation was lovely and clean, beds were comfy. Host was brilliant with communication.

The bathroom and shower rooms were cold and a bit damp. The shower was small, although great water pressure and hot water.

It was a lovely area and well located. It was warm and comfortable. Many rooms and lots of space. Lovely terrace in the main room and outside. Lots of green area around the property and great onsite amenities. Well catered for families with all you’d need for younger ones of pretty much any age. The owner was very helpful and his instructions and advice were amazing. Great customer support and attention to detail with all instructions. Very communicative and attentive.

The owner explained everything we needed to know about the property and the surrounding area before we arrived and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. There was a sparkly Christmas tree and decorations in the front room ready for us when we arrived on boxing day. We had a delicious meal at the local Old Inn and equally delicious breakfast in the morning at the well stocked friendly farm shop cafe nearby. The lodge was very comfortable, clean and warm making a perfect stay for me and my daughter who travelled up from London. I highly reccomend this holiday home and hope to return again.

Perfect location to visit Cornwall and a super cozy, comfortable stay. Jono has been the best host , with well written instructions for every aspect of our stay including suggestions towards our itinerary ! The staff at the park were also really great and super helpful and there is so much on offer inside the park a holiday could easily be done without leaving its walls !! The kids and the adults all loved it and were sad the days had to come to an end so soon !

I wanted to book a place in Cornwall for 2 nights where it is quiet and away from traffic and city. This was ideally located, very peaceful and scenic park. The park has rules and all guests are abiding by them which makes it very clean. All houses have designated parkings, extra cars can be parked in a large parking near reception (free). Though we did not have time to visit the community centre within the park, but it had some good activities including a pool which can be accessed for free after a booking slot. The house was very well equiped, clean and spacious. The owner is a fabulous chap. He made sure guests are comfortable. There were golf clubs, tennis rackets and balls, surfing board, swimming goggles etc all placed in the lounge for guests. Before my arrival there, he contacted me on whatsapp and sent me every tiny detail. I had issue switching on the shower, texted him and he got back immediately on how to switch on the booster switch and then use it. He also guided on which nearby attractions i should visit and kids would love it. Amazing chap.. !! My family enjoyed the trip. Highly recommended, will definitely go again.

This is only nitpicking to inform future visitors what to expect. Especially for those who are less travelled like us. 8. note for a party of 7-8, use the shower judiciously or plan some time to let the water heat again for the 5th person onwards. 9. This is only on reflection when answering the booking.com rating question - The cleaning bucket left in one of the bathrooms was a bit smelly. In hindsight, I probably should not write this here as I did not inform the host when we were there. I am sure they would have acted to resolve this.

A fantastic host and a nice property in a convenient location. 1. Property can accommodate 8 people. Good size for a holiday home. 2. good location from where one can access many of Cornwall's attractions within 30mins drive: Eden Project, Polzeath beach (30mins); Tintagel Castle (20mins), Camel trail for family cycling (10mins) 3. Excellent value for money especially for a party of 7-8 4. Lockbox near the door. instructions and a lot of local information made available by the host well in time. 5. All facilities in the holiday home are comfortable. 6. The holiday park is very pleasant as well. However we did not time to use the onsite facilities. 7. one of us accidentally scorched one of the bed linens. Host and the cleaner were kind and reasonable to charge a very minor amount to replace it.

The host was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and any questions we had were either covered in the information we were given or answered really efficiently. We loved the pub down the road for the carvery, how hot the showers were, the little touches of the coffee machine and our hosts approachability. Very welcomed and a great weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hengar Manor. We had fun at the lovely pool and disco on site. The house was perfect for our three little ones and lots of thought had been put into the equipment and furnishings to make the stay comfortable and easy as possible!

Very communicative host with lots of info about the facilities and suggestions for places to go and things to do. Fire TV stick was very handy. Suggested to the host that some playing cards or board games might be good but that was the only thing we missed.

NOTHINK .THE HOST HAD THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING IE IF YOU WANTED TO GOLF OR PLAY TENNIS EVERYTHING WAS THERE TO HAND THERE WAS FOUR OF US ,AND EACH ONE SAID THEY WOULD RETURN.

THE BREAKFASTS WERE EXCELLENT WE ALL HAD SOMETHING DIFFERENT.BREAKFAST AREA WAS SPOTLESS.STAFF WAS FANTASTIC AND PROFESSIONAL.WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IT.

Whilst the house was comfortable and clean it was a bit tired looking. I understand a house where you have a large footfall will be hard to maintain it just looked as if it needed a little TLC. Although for us it was just a base whilst we toured the local area so only really used it to sleep in.

The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for a while. I struggle to sleep normally, either away or at home, but during my stay I had the best night's sleep for ages...... my smart watch confirmed it. Bed and linen was spot on.
