This is our second time staying here, the first time was a lovely room . This time the room was very small, a bed that just wasn’t great and uncomfortable. The shower looked liked it had been over packed with sealant around the edges and was mouldy. Behid the headboard of the bed was the window sill and was very dirty.

TV didn't work due to plug socket not working... Had to use a different plug socket for the kettle as it didn't work ( same socket) shower took a long time to heat up.

I think it could do with a refurbishment as there was a hole in the walls and it's very dated however for 5 people at 66.00 pound is a bargin

Room 25, a bit scruffy with the graffiti, needs a really good hoover behind the child bunkbeds, only 1 loo roll, the cardboard empty one was still on. 3 small coffee sachets and loads of tea, lumpy bed, no remote for the tv, no parking outside but we knew that could be the case, family room downstairs was locked, thought bar might have been open from 8pm but was closed, so went out instead. Cheap and cheerful for what it is, bargain price but seemed like no effort to replenish complementary drink sachets or loo roll. After initial booking in never saw anyone to ask about issues. Ideal for those who just want 4 walls and a roof.

Rooms were dated with holes in the ceiling. Bunk bed screws were missing. The water was cold and took ages to warm up for a shower. I had 3 children with me who were freezing as room 8 was cold. Room 20 smelt of smoke and when my friend spoke to the staff the man argued that the room was cleaned '2 weeks ago' so it couldn't smell of cigarette smoke.

There was no breakfast. I understand that this was the policy of the owner. However, the new Manageer told me he did not support the owner's decision not to provide breakfast. I found the Manager a remarkable young man who deserves to be supported. I found the bed very comfortable but the decor awful.

There was no heating on the whole time we were there, no hot water after running tap for 12 minutes, gave up so couldn't use shower either , not recommended in December.

This is a pleasant, friendly hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful. Room size is enough for short stay, beds comfortable facilities ok.

The room was cold. You have to wait 6 minutes for hot water to run in the shower.Blankets are short. If you are longer than 160 centimeters, then the blanket will be short for you.

It's good for one -two nights. The price matches the quality.

The room was very small,the ceiling was cracked in places,their was wallpaper hanging off ceiling and walls,their was cable clips with nails in on the floor,shower didn't work properly and curtain was too short for shower,crack in the sink,best thing about room was the very comfortable,had a nice sleep,I wouldn't say this room was a Delux family room,but nice and cheap,may stay again when repairs and wallpapering is done safe but annoyed with nail clips on floor as our 3year old could have stood on the nail,..the room should have been hoovered and inspected,thanks
