Nothing really just a couple of little niggles, the nest heating was disconnected from the Internet when we arrived and the WiFi password provided didn't work but we entered the code on the router and it worked. It was the same when trying to log devices in, the router code was needed. The stairs need painting a brighter colour, makes it very tricky at night as the light isn't good on the staircase, especially when negotiating them with children. No parking but it's not a big deal as parking isn't too far away. As property is grade 2 listed, it's single pane glass at the front and this can make things noisy at times. Garden needs a tidy up. Only couple of little things

The property is in a very central location with everything you would want near by. The beach is 2 mins away and is perfect for children, as is the arcade and amusements. The hosts gave us easy instruction to get the key from the lock box on arrival and provided a handy guest information book. The house is very well equipped and we like how it had been decorated

House was lovely, well stocked with everything you'll need. On arrival, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect location in the centre of Weymouth. Owners kept in really good contact with us. Very happy with our stay and would highly recommend.

A beautiful house with so much charm, character and facilities - It felt like a home away from home. The house itself had everything we needed, the communal spaces were perfect for being able to congregate and enjoy our time in the house together. The kitchen is incredibly well furnished, and was a joy to cook/eat in. The rooms were very homely with all the facilities you need and the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms were well furnished and very up to date appliances in keeping with the charming house so were a real luxury. The location was right in the centre of everything, you couldn't be more central and a incredibly short walk to everything (it does come at the expense of not having on site car parking but there is good/safe overnight car parking near so we did not find it a problem) A place I would have loved to have spent more time in and hopefully I will be back with more of the family!

Next door holiday rental poperty had a large group staying and they were building up a fair bit of rubbish (including nappies) which they left in black bags close to our door, the smell was quite pervasive and crept under it (there's quite a big gap between door bottom and floor). After one day I decided to move the bags nearer to their door instead which fixed the problem, mostly! Might be helpful to have a word with the owner of other property to suggest they offer guidance to guests to leave binbags to right of poperty in a designated spot. The only other thing I might suggest is to flag up that the house is over 4 floors and only accessible by the central, winding staircase. It was mentioned but not fully apparent. My 81 year old dad struggled a wee bit. That said, I'm really glad we stayed there, had it been mentioned we would have been obliged to book elsewhere so in a complete volte face, for purely selfish reasons, I'm glad it wasn't too obvious!

Location, location, location! Was brilliant, around corner from beach (we went for night swims and loved only short walk back in swimsuits & towels to property), also on corner of St Alban Steet with its bunting and mix of cafes and gift shops, and close to all the shops and harbour. This lovely old period house had so much character and original features, loved the main bedroom with its en suite (I want one just like it at home please!). The kitchen with its huge table was where we congregated most evenings, and it was lovely getting everyone (kids, parents, grandparent (sitting down together playing cards or mini bingo (my 7 yr old was the caller and very taken with the game). The wee courtyard at the back was cute, handy to have somewhere to hang out washing, or wet, sandy stuff and we appreciated the loan of the beach gear. It felt like the hosts had a genuine interest in making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.

No parking directly for the property but that can’t be helped by the owners and there is plenty of parking in the town

The house was a peaceful comfy place in the heart of Weymouth. It has everything you could need for a stay away from home. The beds were super comfy and the house decor lovely. The kitchen was fab.

We didn’t like the bed (was not comfortable), there was smell in the backyard and lots of fruit flies in the kitchen, and because of how the property is, we had to move up and down the stairs a lot.

We liked almost everything about the property- decor, facilities, materials, board games.

The lean to and courtyard were a little bit tired looking, however we understand that the owners have just taken over from the previous ones and so are in the process of further updating. It is by no means a problem though but adds to the charm of the place.

The attention to detail was great, location fabulous and the interiors are very tastefully done! We would have loved to stay longer as it felt cosy and comfortable. The hosts were amazing answering immediately to any messages and making great suggestions of restaurants etc.
