We grabbed a takeaway before heading out to meet friends, luckily, it was a lovely sunny day and we were able to eat outside. Had it been raining there was no where indoors where we could have sat down to eat.

Everything was to a exceptional standard. Having the outside patio area to ourselves was lovely. It was just like staying in a 5 star hotel.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. Just a few suggestions. For longer stays would need a chest of drawers, maybe instead of the bedside tables. Bigger bath towels. We aren’t big people, but they were snug!

All high quality furnishings and accessories. Bed extremely comfortable. Wonderful massive mirror. Spotlessly clean. Bread, cereal, milk. Tea and coffee all supplied and good quality. Felt very safe and secure. Lovely setting

Leaving was hard!!

We enjoyed the comfort of arriving to a “cracking log fire” on the wall-mounted flat screen TV. A lovely touch on a wet and windy evening. Our schedule made time for a self-serve breakfast from the well stocked larder and fridge…..Coco Pops…not had those for many a year. All excellent.

Absolutely nothing

We were warmly greeted by our host, Catherine, upon arrival and immediately felt ‘at home’. The entire experience which sadly only comprised a one-night stopover far exceeded our expectations, hence the title of our review. Whilst we are experienced travellers we rarely, if ever, book private homes, I’m happy to say that Dafarn Newydd has challenged that habit. We will be returning and have already made strong recommendations to our Irish friends who travel through Anglesey regularly. Thank you.

There was nothing I didn't like about the accommodation at all.

The house, gardens and studio are beautiful, the location is fantastic and easy to find. The room was really lovely and comfortable, great facilities and I would not be able to fault it at all. Catherine was really friendly and welcoming, helpful and great to chat with, she made us feel at home and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. If we rerurn to Anglesey, we will definitely stay here if there is room for us.

I booked this as a surprise for my wife. When we arrived she could not believe that we were staying in such a beautiful place. She said she felt like a millionaire for the day. It was gorgeous. We will definitely be going back in the summer. If you are thinking of booking to stay here, don’t hesitate just do it you won’t be disappointed.
