Can’t think of anything at all even the dog was great!

The highlight of our NC 500 trip, great location and food. The hotel is lovely and we were greeted by Andi who was lovely and the perfect host. Parking is safe if you’re worried about your wheels. Could have stayed here longer and enjoyed more in the area.

We felt it was a bit over priced.

Location was so tranquil and pretty. Plenty of parking, amazing views. Room a good size, clean and comfortable. Good choice of dinner and breakfast.

Can't find fault with anything in this property.

Hotel was great and in a beautiful location. We had dinner at the restaurant which was really good. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

Bathroom was a little cramped, but I figure it's always a challenge to retro-fit en-suites into older properties. It all worked though

The welcome. The staff were very enthusiastic about what they offer. The traditional-style decor. I figure it was a hunting lodge in the past, and it retains that feel with wood burning stoves and sumptuous furniture.

Hardly a complaint but the larger bed was a £20 supplement and it was a king size offered by most other places we stay at without the supplement - 9 locations in 9 nights!

Great location, it felt like the start of the most exciting part of the NC500. Helpful staff, nice owner. Separate bar area and relaxing area - the Fox Den which was a good place to retire to with a drink in the evening.

The hotel is in a lovely setting, great views and very peaceful. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, amazing shower. The breakfast was great and the dinner menu was first class. All the meals were generous portions. Outstanding service at the hotel from the proprietors and staff who were all very friendly

Stayed as part of our NC500 tour. Nice hotel. Good reception. All members of staff friendly towards us and our dog. Nice dining room set aside for guests with dogs and a pleasant residents' lounge. Quiet area but not too far from the main town of Tongue and quite near a wonderful beach. Room comfortable. Decent shower. Would be the choice to stay again if in the area.

Was warmly greeted by co-owner Andi who showed me around the homely lodge. The staff were brilliant especially Andi. The lodge and rooms were warm and clean. Evening meal and breakfast was fantastic. I’ll certainly book again here when I do NC500 again.

We love this beautiful Lodge Hotel and this was our second visit (and not the last!). The warm cozy feeling of the rooms, the warmth and nice shared spaces, the food and the views! Andi and her staff as always have been exceptional, we cannot thank them enough for trying to feed us even past the dinner time. It felt so nice and we appreciate every single attention to care for details and care for the guests! Best Lodge ever!

There wasn't anything to dislike, my only issue is the per dog charge. We travelled with two so £20. They didn't get water bowls/beds , biscuits or anything individually for this fee, though they were made a fuss of by the staff! The same level of cleaning would have been required regardless of number, so a bit cheeky, perhaps.
