This was a wonderful place to stay - felt like a duke or an earl. The surroundings are great, the food excellent and the staff amazing.

They put a £100 hold on my card that still hasn’t been returned nearly a week later. Seeing as we didn’t use anything from the mini bar or room service I feel like the money should have been returned quicker.

Everything was lovely staff helpful and friendly. Beautiful place to stay. Will definitely return.

Beautiful building, superb room. Staff went the extra mile to make our stay amazing. Food was excellent and spa facilities were spot on! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back again soon! Boringdon Hall has raised the bar on our hotel expectations!

There was a chap in the acleàf that was touching his nose like he had a cold which was off putting, also the mayflower was good but we were the only ones waiting 10 mins for drinks then my husband had to go and ask for them to be served which they did promptly with an apology which is fine, also the corridor going down to our room number 82 expensive rooms, smelt like urine or something think it may have been the moss or the carpet but that wasn’t pleasant apart from those few bits it was absolutely beautiful 😍

Location was absolutely amazing the hall was beautiful, very impressive, the spa was amazing, my husband liked his massage, the staff were very professional and accommodating, even walking through the corridors people were asking how the stay was which was excellent, a maintenance man asked us on our way to check out how everything was which was very nice, the acleàf was really good and a lovely experience, the food was good to try, some id never heard of, and I even drank the glass of Chardonnay when I don’t drink at all, the check in/out staff were excellent, especially a young lad didn’t catch his name but he was fab, the bar staff and waiter staff were excellent, and the mayflower staff were also ok but did over look a few things

The entire Hotel team were professional, friendly, and extremely good at what they do. The whole Hotel, and Spa, were clean, tidy, and well maintained. In the Spa, great that towels were removed from loungers, while not being occupied, so enough for everyone. Breakfast and Dinner service was wonderful, and cuisine was simply out of this world. Loved that we were asked to try a 'New Honey Based' cocktail, and even name it, for the upcoming Honey Tea day. Best Hotel experience of my life, and I have been in the hospitality industry for years.

The breakfast allergens were not clearly labelled and it took a long time to establish options. We had asked for 2 vegan breakfasts but were served 1 Veggie and 1 vegan.

Quality of meat in Roast Beef Sunday Lunch. Complained to staff who were unable to correct this at the time.

There are a lot of stairs up to the wellness rooms! There are lifts too, but they are very slow.

The setting is lovely; the room (wellness room) was generous and comfortable; the pool area is excellent and the food superb.

Wardrobe is full of stuff so you can’t hang your clothes up properly. Anti theft hangers are a pain

Staff fantastic, made my big Birthday celebrations feel very special. Spa wonderful especially hot tub outside the relaxation room. Murder mystery night great fun. Wellness room beautiful and gorgeous products. Will return for sure.
