Overpriced but times are tough i guess

Room got a little stuffy. We opened the window which solved the problem ( if you don’t mind street noise). We brought a white noise machine so it was all good.

The one minus was that you have to decide what time you will come at breakfast. I don't know why, because when I said at 8.00 - there was no possible, when 8.30 - it was ok. When we came at the restaurant there was only 2 (from at c.a. 10-11 in total) occupied. It lasted 30 min waiting for food. The Man who was serving he didn't take full order, jest partial - asking about tea or coffee, then juice, then breakfast. Long, long and waste of time him and ours, not organised.

The only drawback is the lack of parking, although we did manage to find a public parking space immediately in front of the hotel on every night but one.

our room was above the bar which was very noisy until 11pm. not a big deal until we were trying to sleep, but thankfully the music stopped shortly after.

The hotel is in the heart of Portree. Staff it’s been amazing and also the room, clean and comfy. We had everything we need, if you are around Isle of Skye I would really recommend this place!

Pretty, cosy and comfy room with great bedding and coffee machine. All clean and fresh looking. The room was quiet and private despite other rooms being very close. Location of hotel is fabulous overlooking the picturesque main harbour.

Very impressed with the room, facilities were exceptional. Everything you could think of, hospitality tray best I've seen, gown's and slippers, toiletries and bathroom and bedroom were spotless. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Harold and the team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best any hotel could ever offer. The experience in the restaurant was fantastic the team worked really hard as the restaurant was full to capacity but there was no waiting for anything they really looked after us and the food was amazing thank you Harold and all the team

Lack of parking spaces. Staff directed me to parking spaces that weren’t near the hotel so I had to carry luggage from there to the hotel. I have mobility issues and would not have booked this hotel had I known about the lack of parking spaces.

The room was lovely. Larger than expected and the shower was so powerful. Beautiful breakfast each morning with both continental and cooked options.

Great location in centre of town. Stayed in the family room with views over the harbour. That came at price however, because the noise from the front of the hotel went on until late in night. Otherwise a great stay - superb food - friendly staff.

Very few options available for cooked plates at breakfast despite what was listed in the menu.

The view from our window was stunning. Location at walking distance of restaurants and village sightseeing. Nespresso machine, caramel bars and a choice of teas were definitely a plus in the room.

The view from our room was beautiful and so was the room itself. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant and the staff was super accomodating, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also outstanding👌
