Fire alarm went off at 2.20, stood outside for 20 minutes, no staff instruction at all, eventually it stopped and everyone returned to their rooms. Checkout in the morning at reception made no reference to the disturbed night, apology etc

    Room cleanliness.

Location was good. Did not have breakfast as I didn't pre book by mistake and felt that £24 per person was excessive.

Spa area seemed a little tired - the steam room wasn’t working the day we used the spa and the women’s changing area, although very clean was tired and didn’t feel at all luxurious. There were no individual changing cubicles either, or a place to leave towels or dry costumes, just a general area so it felt like a leisure centre rather than a spa. Also a fire alarm went off at 2am in the morning and we didn’t see any staff around to account for us whilst we waited outside or give instructions as to what to do.. we had to follow the crowd.

Lovely room and comfortable beds. Good location. The pool was a good size and warm. All the staff were very friendly. Had a lovely facial.

Only let down was my wife wanted a Massage and paid for back massage, the value for money was very poor, complete let down.

Everything was just as we expected. Breakfast was very good, everything was available for us, good service by the staff Room was ok, for a king size expected to a bit more. Dinner, we had Dinner on first night, but went out for the rest of the stay. Facilities was good, we like the Pool/ steam room and Suna

It is getting very tired. There are always laundry racks stacked up outside. Breakfast is far too expensive.

We stay in this hotel whilst visiting family who live on the new housing village built on the golf course. The leisure facilities look good. Rooms are a good size.

The aircon wasn’t working in the room which made sleeping very uncomfortable as it was a hot evening.

The staff are professional, helpful and happy! It’s lovely that they take time to have a little conversation at check in

Hotel in serious need of a refurbishment. Towels were also replaced every day (except Sunday), which seems a bit unnecessary.

    • the cost of the drinks. We had 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks off the bar menu and the cost was £45.90. The sandwiches were £12 each which was ok leaving £21.90 for 2 drinks which I think was very expensive. • we have stayed in 3 other McDonald hotels and resorts and was disappointed with this one. • expected more grounds to walk around in from pictures, hotel is surrounded by new housing estate and further building. . Decor needs updating.

•The staff went out of their way to do everything they could for you. Very professional and polite at all times. • bed was very comfortable

Building work outside when we stayed there. and it just needed a vacuum and general dusting in lounge area, on the panelling ledges especially. Also, not taking cash is not useful anymore since Covid is over, we had exchanged all our cash into sterling which they wouldn’t accept! Breakfast a bit pricey!!!!

Very pretty building, great location, really lovely reception staff and household staff, lots of space, cosy feeling. Local taxi services are excellent! could be a great destination holiday with a few tweaks

The seating area in the bar . The couches and chairs are very low only suitable for the younger generation, also look tired and need replaced. We had to sit in a large room outside the sports bar in order to get a oral height chair and we were the only people in this room, but the staff did put the heating on for us .

The Reception however, whilst efficient in booking us in, failed misserably when asked for fresh milk for our room (as prompted on a printed card with the Tea and coffee facilities).. The milk never arrived. The following morning reception was asked for a cup off coffee, but was told because the lounge bar wasn't open at 9.15am they couldn't provide any... Even though the Restaurant was open serving breakfast/coffees.

There was a cavernous gap between the competance and attitude of the staff. The Restaurant was exceptional in the quality and presentation of the meal.. the waiters were attentive but not over so. The Restaurant Manager checked on our satisfaction both during and after the meal was served... top Marks!!

There was very little soundproofing and I was woken up from 7am wmby other guests talking loudly in the corridor outside heading out for the day. Kids running up the corridors and parents shouting after them doesn't make for a good sleep.

The hotel was clean and well presented and though we were too early for check it we were given our key so we could go straight to our room when we returned

Tray charge of £8.00 is abit much for breakfast and breakfast food was not exciting as the food was dry

Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. They also still serve biscuits with your teas and coffee which is now rare in other hotels. Ample parking space is a huge plus and the service we received from all staff was amazing. I love the multiple bar and lounge areas available till late
