Great location, no double glazing tho so music from pubs was quite loud., everything else was good

I was asked to pay £250 security payment which is £150 more than stated in hotel policy. I was told I could be reimbursed this payment on satisfactory condition following our stay. I was told on our leaving day that this would be paid within 5-10 working days. On not receiving this after that time I contacted the hotel to be told that as I’d paid by an internet bank (Starling), I would need to wait for up to 30 days for reimbursement. I checked out of the hotel on the 17th of March & it is now the 14th of April with no correspondence! Personally I think this is exploitation of customers by the bank utilised by the hotel to manage security deposits and not acceptable! Moreover the hotel needs to make it more transparent as to how secure deposits are managed.

£5 per bag to leave in the hotel after you check out is a bit cheeky. First time I’ve ever had to do that. Come on no need for it .

Not enough plug sockets Lighting around mirrors not bright enough to apply makeup Very weird suspicious mirrors at both end of one of the baths (was told one used to be a TV but they removed and replaced with another mirrior. Odd. And when the hot water steamed the room one mirror only steamed half way with a wierd clear line a 3rd of the way down and the bottom Bit was clear as day like something was behind it. Odd odd odd. Very 50 shades of grey Heating was broken, very small temporary portable heater in room on arrival also broken. Asked night shift desk staff told there were no more available wasn't offered room change. Explained to morning staff on check out asked for partial refund due to being so cold in the night, wore full pyjamas plus socks and out hoodies to keep warm, poor sleep because of this was told owner doesn't like giving refunds out to pop them an email when home

Since it's at the centre, it's a bit loud at night since it's surrounded by bars and pubs.

Location was amazing we could literally walk to everything we had booked. The hotel is comfortable and friendly vibe hotel bar is nice. Only issues we had was couldn’t do our own heating and room was very cold. Had to call to get this done then it went boiling. Couldn’t seem to win with it. The bath in our room (room 1) water didn’t stay in it seemed the seal had gone bad. It also gushed out everywhere when jacuzzi turned on. Noise from other rooms was quite loud but didn’t bother us too much other people it might bother you can definitely get to know your neighbours. No parking but there is a local place which charged £13 a day. Didn’t eat at hotel. All staff were very friendly.

No terrestrial TV channels. Should have 'simple' instructions for the jacuzzi!! It absolutely terrified the kids. It made the loudest bang and then squirted water everywhere!! Then, they refused point blank to get in!! It was hilarious!

The bathroom was fairly dirty, and the lights in the kitchen aren't the best, but we made do with it.

Massive apartment and was close to everything we needed. A stones throw away from Mathew St, and right in the heart of the city centre. I've just booked again to return next month!

The shower was a pain to use as it was in the middle (literally between the door and the toilet) of the small bathroom. There was no millimeter of surface to put anything down without it getting drenched when taking a shower so we had to remove toilet roll, towels every time we showered. Comes with the location but noise was awful in Room 1. The bar directly beneath, the bar across the street and people. To be expected but the music was almost constant, even at 8AM! And I usually sleep with noise in the background but this was next level

The bathroom situation was odd. 2 huge baths, but v difficult to climb into the shower. Bathroom smelled awful, but no air vent that was working.

After a long and tiring trip this place was amazing along with the team running it. I was struggling to stay awake and asked if my room was ok to go into. They accepted and made sure I was ok. The bath was something else. Plenty of room and so relaxing.

Unfortunately loud music played until after 2am from the bars outside, normally this wouldn't bother me as I need noise to help me sleep but I had a migraine. I do however think this needs to be mentioned in the description as it could be off putting for some people, especially if they have young children that go to sleep early.

Cannot fault this hotel for the price! I would have paid double just to have the jacuzzi bath 😄

Cheap to book but they make the money back , you have to pay to leave your luggage behind reception and if you want to check in before 3pm you pay 20 pounds an hour

Location. Restaurant /bars /shops all in walking distance Room. Hotel room beautiful and perfect size for a group of people Staff. Friendly and provided balloons/prosecco package for my birthday Cheap No key card , PIN code. Really handy
