We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe booked meal for evening group of 10 most of us didn’t like the food ,wasn’t well cooked over priced and disappointing,think a lot of hotels we stay in have very high end restaurants big focus on local produce and high standard .it was very old fashioned hotel style mass produced food really not good enough .chef needs to taste the food !! Breakfast was also disappointing poor quantity produce . Loved the hotel would be amazing with better food.
Loved layout hotel for using spa , rooms very spacious and had everything u needed lovely views. Staff friendly and helpful lovely spa maybe need another hot tub .

United KingdomWe didn't eat in the restaurant this time as the menu is a little too rich for our taste and I would like to see the addition of some more simple dishes to choose from. I'm sure those would be as beautifully presented and seem as special. We chose to eat out but with plenty of good quality eating places just a short drive away, it wasn't a problem.
The Bowood Hotel feels luxurious from the moment you walk down the driveway from the car park. You are greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome. Everywhere is beautifully clean and comfortable and the staff are all very attentive. Breakfast feels very relaxed and calm, no hustle and bustle like some hotels and again, the staff do their best to make it a pleasant experience. The pool area and spa facilities are well laid out with open views from the pool across the well kept grounds.

United KingdomWe think our breakfast was left to stand for too long as the eggs were cold and the hollindaise sauce had split, but we enjoyed the continental breakfast and the coffee was great.
The room was immaculate and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. Great value. The cooked breakfast was a little cold when served. But we will definitely return.

United KingdomLoads of kids in the spa/pool area until 17:00 on Sunday, therefore lacking in the relaxing spa night away we hoped for. Due to the windy weather there were lots of noise coming from the roof and building throughout the night.
Very comfortable beds, lovely room and great breakfast. The staff are friendly and very welcoming, as well we were greeting with complimentary cookies (delicious) and a bottle of Prosecco.

Beautiful hotel, warm welcome, especially in the spa. A fabulous room. Very touched to find a bottle in our room to mark our birthday celebration. Gorgeous view from the spa - swam early on Sunday morning whilst watching the deer grazing by the woods. Felt rested and rejuvenated after a wonderful weekend.

United KingdomThe staff were very attentive and smiley. No question or request was too much. The room was absolutely stunning, and the attention to detail was brilliant. The spa was very relaxing and clean. We just had an overnight stay away as a couple, and it felt very special to be there from the minute we arrived when we were greeted at the main door and our bags were taken to be delivered to our room, ready for when we got there. The best hotel and spa we've stayed in so far, we'll definitely be back. Breakfast was exquisite, and the choices were great. The decor and feel of the hotel felt very luxurious.
