First impressions are important, the very tiered mat on entry and some cleanliness issues around the sink and on the skirting board were disappointing. Having no WiFi was not ideal.

It was chilly on arrival in February, but could boost the heating and it soon warmed up. Extra bedding and hot water bottles were provided.

Quiet yet very conveniently situated for restaurants, cafes and cinema and the town centre all very close by.

The decor was a little mis matched and old fashioned but did not deter from a great stay as the property was very clean throughout.

It had a fantastic location with parking right outside the door. Everything you could need for an overnight stay with a super comfy bed. It's a incredible price for where it is. Good communication from the owner. Will definitely return

The only slight minus was it was a bit cold... But it was fairly exceptionally chilly outside!

What a great place! We wished we'd had a lot longer there to really make use of the facilities and enjoy the extra space. It was so convenient for the station yet really quiet inside. Very happy with everything.

Nothing much not to like. Could have done with a dish cloth for washing pots. No soap in bathroom for washing hands. Only minor things.

The location is absolutely excellent. Everything is so close. The accommodation is very comfortable. The hosts are excellent.

After a 2 hour journey I would have liked some hand wash in the bathroom. The first thing I did on arrival was to go to the loo. I know there's plenty of hand gel provided but my skin doesn't like it. I didn't find a tea towel in the kitchen but luckily I had one with me. WiFi would be a bonus.

It's in a very convenient and quiet location. Just a short, flat walk to the centre and from the railway station. It's surprisingly spacious inside, a bit of a TARDIS! The bed is very comfortable. The large walk in shower was a nice surprise. It is a perfect place for one or two people. It's fully equipped and has a folder explaining how it all works. Andy is very responsive to emails.

Just a couple of things that could've been done. No outside bin to dispose of our rubbish before leaving, not enough toilet rolls for our stay.
