We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room needed a good clean and overall, needed refurbishment in areas (the bathroom in particular). The TV was very limited and couldn't provide normal freeview channels. The tea/coffee supplied were limited and only polystyrene cups provided, no other cups/glasses were provided to drink water. There were 3 parties being held at the venue while we were there and other guests were very loud until 4am which made the evening difficult as we had a 4 year old.
We chose this hotel due to location. We were attending a local family event. It was spacious and had a nice balcony.

United KingdomOriginal room we paid for stunk of smoke and got worse through the evening. Was only staying until 3am as had a flight to catch but requested a room change due to the smell. The staff were helping in doing this however had to pay to change room as they only had a larger one available. Due to the circumstances, would have been reasonable to change room free of charge considering completely out of our hands.

United Kingdom1st room - no hot water. 2nd room had hot water, but no shower curtain. Bedroom rather cool even with the small electric radiator provided. Bathroom cold - radiator not working. Bar and restaurant not yet open.

United KingdomThe rooms were very old fashioned with a manual plug in heater so barely kept you warm. Had to move rooms as until room had been “cleaned” yet there was hair and stains in the bathroom the TV didn’t work and Snail Trail marks all over the carpet along with other black stains and mould/cobwebs. The second room we stayed in was better however didn’t have a lock so had to get caretaker to come fit one. The water pressure out of the taps was lacklustre and a weak stream of water would be a compliment to them. Plastic cups for the kettle provided too felt a bit of a let down. Over all the rooms were considerably below standard and not worth the price, the dirt and unhygienic and issues we encountered displayed that. While the lady on reception was apologetic she would have to get constant approval to change anything or help fix any issues and the maintenance man was far from friendly meaning the whole experience felt like something out of a bad American horror film where it’s was just one bad thing after the next.
