Having a check in time of 5.00pm seems totally unreasonable given we were only staying one night and even after I had explained we were there to see my elderly father and have a family meal together the check in time was still 5.00pm... unless I paid an extra £20.00. Which I did but I was very disappointed with the position. The shower performance was really poor and the bath backed up with water very quickly. The kitchen was equipped but very basic and there should be better cutlery. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and laminate coming off some of the kitchen cupboards. I appreciate these are minor issues but when you are paying £190 for less than 24 hours you have the right to expect the accommodation to be spot on. In future, I will book an apartment further out of town and arrange for a taxi to take my Dad home. It will still leave me better off.

The location was great. The flat was spacious. The beds were comfy. Having a parking space in Swindon is always a winner. The hosts were responsive and helpful. I had an issue with not being able to make the oven work. Marcus actually came to the flat on a Saturday evening and resolved the issue. He was personable and welcoming.

had to hunt for Wi-Fi code as want written on board lift was broke but owner did inform us of this prior to arriving still five floors up carrying heavy bags with an autistic little one In tow was a challenge parking was difficult in the space if we had been able to use u der ground parking it would have been better

The lift was out of action. There was also a rather pungent smell in the corridors (again, not the apartment) which could be linked to the drainage. More of a building maintenance issue not apartment related.

Marcus was incredibly friendly and helpful, meeting us on arrival to show us to the apartment (and even carrying a large bag we had with us). The apartment was spacious, well equipped and had a great view, it also felt very secure.

Sadly during our stay the lift wasn't working but I had been advised of this in a timely manner by our hosts, it was however slightly challenging physically to get to the fifth floor each time (90 steps) but could not be helped by hosts due to management not progressing quickly enough.

Very spacious apartment, lots of seating areas for comfort, kitchen area had enough items to accommodate for 4 people. Very comfortable beds. Considering how many apartments there are in the block including young families it was a very quiet and respectful place to stay. Free parking. 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Great communication with hosts.

The apartment was in 5th floor with no lift. We had no idea about this until we completed the booking. It looked like the lift had not been working for several weeks together. It would have been reasonable if the host had mentioned this in the listing. It was very hard for the family with small kids to climb 10 fleets of stairs (2 fleets per floor) after a long journey.

The lift was out of order and we didn't know about this until we arrived. The apartment was on the top floor which was 90 steps so lucky we are fit. It was baking hot and the windows were either closed or fully open, there was no way to just have them on vent. When they were fully open they weren't safe for children. It could also do with having better blinds. The stairwell was smelly and the apartment was quite noisy from the road below.
