You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

We loved everything about Bridleway Bed and Breakfast. The room was charming and spotless with comfortable chairs and beds. The attention to detail and hospitality were outstanding. Fresh milk, warm scones and clotted cream made our arrival immediately welcoming and relaxing. Jane was helpful and friendly and brought an amazing hamper with breakfast goodies each morning. The ipad in the room meant this could be ordered easily and quickly the night before. Local information was easy to read on the device with key contact details (e.g. eating out/transport etc). The location was wonderful-peaceful and rural yet only 10min drive from the city. Table and chairs outside meant we could relax outdoors as well. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Israel!!! The best place we ever visited it was so beautiful and relaxing, Jane was amazing helping us with all that we needed. We eat special food and she organized it all beautifully. Definitely a place to come back to. We staid 5 days in the garden room and it was amazing. Hi recommended! Its 5 minutes from Lincoln, but in a beautiful green area out side the city, the room is beautiful clean and relaxing, the beds are so comfortable, every thing was really more than we can ask for .

The garden room was very comfortable and well designed. The outside patio is ideal for breakfast and relaxing in the evening. The hamper breakfast was very good quality. We really enjoyed the special little touches such as the evening hamper and fresh flowers. Jane is welcoming and very helpful when required.

United KingdomA fly decided to buzz around the room for half an hour.
My host (Jane) was amazing; she brought a lovely breakfast to my room which was a converted stable. The room had plenty of sockets into which I could plug laptops and other devices. Internet download speed was superfast (70Mbps). The bed was so comfortable I could have slept all day but I had to go out and visit people and footpaths and cathedrals and coffeeshops and pubs, plus a major event at the nearby showground. Lincoln can get busy with traffic but there are areas with free 2-hr parking on street. There's also a park and ride.
