Had a lovely quiet stay at Bridleways. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - gluten free sausages and bread is available. Will definitely book again on our next trip

Nothing to dislike at all

Beautiful setting with walking straight from the doorway, and the owners more than happy to explain the area and it’s history and to advise where to go. My single bedroom was perfect and I could sit at my window in the evening and look across to the stables opposite where riding lessons were happening and watch people stroll along the bridle path. Everything you need is in the room, including a fridge to keep drinks and my salads (for dinner) cold. A microwave and access to dinner plates and cutlery to heat food readily available. The room has a smart tv so I didn’t even need my iPad. I had full access to a beautifully kept idyllic garden to sit peacefully and relax. Breakfast included was lovely, the choices were endless. I had fresh juice, cafetière coffee, thick toast and honey plus wonderful poached eggs mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. The hosts are warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and keen to chat and make you feel very welcome.

Everything to a very high standard throughout. Room had a very pleasant garden view. Lots of complimentaries in the room, including bottled water in fridge in room. Very good breakfast choices including cooked and non cooked. I was intrigued by wall size picture of hand in my room. Host Emyr explained this was picture of a golden hand statue at local lake beauty spot which can be walked to from guest house. Certainly a talking point ! Thanks Emyr and Tracey.

It is like a 5 star hotel but on a really friendly basis. It is in a lovely location. The grounds are immaculate and there are walks from the doorstep. Loads of choice for breakfast. It was our 2nd stay .it is perfect

Not a criticism of the guest house at all, but the road connecting it to the main road is very bumpy -- I didn't want to do more than 5 mph on it. And if that's the worst thing I can think of, it must be pretty nice! :-)

A very friendly, warm welcome from the owners and even other regular guests. Clean, tidy, spacious & very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again for another visit to the area.

Freshly cooked breakfast to order with plenty of options and more than enough to fill any appetite. Friendly and personal service made breakfast a very pleasant experience. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt well looked after. The room was spotless and cleaned regularly throughout my stay as well as having good quality provisions and facilities in the room. The owners even thoughtfully closed the curtains and left a light on when they knew we would be late back one night. Would thoroughly recommend staying here, it’s probably the best B & B/guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in.

The host was very polite and explained everything very clearly from the room to the local food choices. As it was Easter, there was an Easter egg in my room, that was a nice touch. I highly recommend.

No restaurant within walking distance (although take-aways could be consumed in the breakfast room).

Quiet, very peaceful location alongside the river/lake. Spacious room with plenty of storage space and comfortable bed. Spotless! Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Excellent toiletries too. Very helpful and welcoming staff (owners!). Substantial freshly cooked breakfast.

The hosts,very attentive made us feel so welcome.The guesthouse was spotless.we were recommended a few pubs decided on the foxglove for some food which was just a 5min drive,we both enjoyed the food which is always a bonus.Straight across the road from the pub is big asda.Enjoyed a lovely walk when we got back to Bridleways some great views.we decided to stop in that night with a few bottles of wine sat in the electric recliner chairs(so comfy) kid free and being able to have a conversation and watch the tele without interruptions.Sometimes it's the small things. As you can guess we don't get away much as a couple but we loved it.All memories.Breakfast was just the cheery on the top 10/10. Thankyou Craig Laila

The Breakfast was just brilliant as it was prepared fresh to order. The dining room was comfortable and felt homely. The bedroom was very comfortable and warm. The Location was perfect for my work base. Excellent hosting with fantastic customer care.
