Two flights of stairs might not suit the older or less mobile visitor. The bed was too soft for me but that’s absolutely a personal preference. The pressure of the water in the shower was a little weak for me. It’s a 25 minute, hilly walk to and from the station, but that’s Brighton!

Exceptionally clean, bright and cozy but reasonably spacious room. Coffee, tea and biscuits with a kettle were appreciated. It was quiet enough for me to get a very good sleep. The property is very handy to the beach front and not far from the action.

The only thing was the auto generated messages from HQ prior to arrival about uploading IDs were not accurate, but the local staff stepped in to handle it correctly, so all was well.

The members of staff we met there were all super helpful and friendly, assisting us with our various requests. Our rooms were not massive but just the right size and everything was clean. The location was great. Would definitely stay again.

Scaffolding outside but no big problem every place needs a bit of freshening up now and again. Shame no breakfast but again not a problem as plenty of places to have breakfast.

Although they cannot offer breakfast, this did not bother me as there are plenty of options within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. The room was a bit on the small size, but great value for a single. There was some scaffolding outside while there, but this didn't affect my stay at all.

The rooms were clean and comfortable - I stayed in both room 8 (3 nights) and room 5 (one night), with separate, lockable bathroom for each. I liked that you could just come and go as you pleased. The staff were happy to move my possessions from one room to another while I was out.

We couldn't get into our room as no key was left when we arrived but a lovely lady came to help us and was very apologetic and reassuring. This was however quite stressful for us but mistakes happen.

No breakfast option, but plenty of places around Charlotte Street to get food. 😋 There was some scaffolding outside but this didn’t affect my stay at all.

The bathroom although private is on a seperate floor. Bed was ok and I had a decent sleep, but not the most excellent comfort.

I have only one suggestion- add some shelving in the shower - they have strong suction shelves that work great!

The hotel was in a great location near the sea front and super close to the centre of Brighton. It was very clean and quiet, with an easy check in system. A kind member of staff even went to buy some oat milk for my coffee in the morning :) Would highly recommend staying here!

Only issue I had was in room 6 the shower control tap stuck out to far for the size of shower cubicle and it got in the way and I really struggled because of my mobility and I’m not a large person.
