Nice but air con was terrible

We were told we didn’t book breakfast when we did, it wasn’t on our confirmation so we were told we couldn’t have it. However on booking.com app it said breakfast included so they honoured it in the end, but it was confusing at first and it seemed we had annoyed the staff saying we had paid for breakfast but they didn’t seem to believe us.

Beds were really comfy and overall it was really clean

The exec lounge of which I paid extra for no longer had breakfast in there and the terrace was closed due to renovation which was disappointing as would have been nice to have breakfast outside as the weather was glorious. The only major issue I had was that at no time did room service replenish milk or remove dirty dishes and our phone didn't work to be able to call reception or anywhere else for that matter. Would have also benefitted having a dresser with mirror in the room rather than having to use extension for hairdryer and straighteners to reach the full length mirror and bathroom only took shavers

Alicia on front desk was amazing chatty smiling and welcoming. The room we booked was a double exec room with fantastic views of the park. Lots of space in the room even though 2 double beds in it. The breakfast was outstanding every morning and all staff were friendly and helpful

Fridge wasn’t switched on. No water to drink in room. No hairdryer plug near mirror. Heard maintenance/ repair work under my room in the morning while i was trying to work.

We had a great night but we were not told the breakfast times or where we had to go. Not a big deal though we just asked later on. No menu for room service in the room and not much on the tea tray. That said we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

A lovely greeting and we were upgraded at check in. My Daughter was also given a chocolate gift! Lovely staff at the check in desk and the reception area looked and smelt amazing. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Breakfast was also lovely.

Been questioned all the time regarding our booking. long to check in. night staff should have not been left alone to work especially on there third night of starting. stayed for two nights, and our room was not made up the next day very disappointed, as other hotels I stay in make up and tidy the rooms, and replenish the coffee etc.

Room, no need for two beds, one large bed would have been enough, fur balls on the carpet. no conditioner in the shower. Breakfast wonderful, staff were brilliant at breakfast, very tasty breakfast great choice, except been asked both mornings that I had to pay for breakfast, as it was all included.

Was very disappointed that the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay we rang reception who were very good and came to our room but were unable to solve to issue they offered us discount on the room but said we would have to do this through booking .com

They need to take a look at sound proofing the windows better. We could hear loud exhaust vehicles late at night.

I was very disappointed that on our second night, when we returned to our room, we realised that towels had not been changed, bins had not been empied and coffe facilities in the room had not been clean or replenished. It was an expensive hotel and was very disappointed about this.

The rooms were nice and clean the first day of our stay. And yhere was the option of a breakfast buffet.

I was told that there would be no housekeeping during my three nights stay, which was ok with me. Huge new tv but no Netflix nor screen mirroring, which is a must for me. A current of outside cold air flowing from under the AC machine , I solved it by putting a towel there.

Location in the city centre facing a nice park. Comfortable bed and pillows. Got upgraded to a superior corner room with a great view by the young lady in the front desk. I didn't use the hotel facilities or restaurant because of being in the centre and loads of restaurant options, so I can't give an opinion about it. Coffee,tea,milk,a Nespresso machine with a box of six coffee capsules. The bathroom is great. The room and the bathroom are well lit.

One thing the extractor fan in the bathroom was still on at 11.30 at night had to shut the toilet door to stop hearing it, plus the staff didn’t ask when i checked out if my stay was ok or not

Wifi was down on first day and we struggled to get anything other than BBC1 on TV set on the first night. These issues were resolved the following day. Ongoing maintenance on the exterior of the building meant the windows were filthy and spoilt the view across Castle Park and to the city centre.

Good location and within easy walking distance of city centre. Very helpful staff at reception. Excellent breakfast.

The buffet breakfast wasn't as hot as I would have liked but it wasn't cold.

Room got warm as we were on 8th floor, had to turn air con on. The air con unit was noisy.

Spacious room. Friendly staff. Clean and presentable hotel. Fantastic choice of breakfast. Water available in reception to top up your bottle.

We did not get the parking discount despite the ticket from NCP was validated

June looked after us so well Food was excellent and plenty to choose from Reception staff very helpful
