Rooms could do with being updated a little bit, the single beds were not very comfynand some of the rooms didnt have enough plug sockets, the rooms were also a bit hot even with the windows open, and with the windows open it gets a bit noisy during the night.

Was a nice cheap hotel, friendly staff and did the job for my brother's stag do, nice and easy check in and then the rooms where easy to get to, shower also had great water pressure. The overall interior of the hotel was actually lovely and the bar was also really nice too.

The hotel rooms didn’t match how nice the actual hotel was. Seemed pretty neglated in that aspect of things. The lifts were terrible, made us feel very unsafe and the food quality for the breakfast wasn’t amazing, edible but not enjoyable

I like the look of the inside, when you walk in and see the grand staircase and the big chandelier. I liked that it was close to all the good spots in Manchester. Bar to one side and breakfast on the other which was very handy

The bedrooms were very small and I was downgraded to a 1 bed despite booking a twin room but no price deduction was applied.

The location was very central when coming in by train.

I enjoyed my stay overall, although I felt the receptionist I spoke with on arrival was initially rude. The issue in question was a genuine misunderstanding, and once sorted, she was polite.

The hotel was very quaint, clean and smelled really nice. I booked a small room (no windows) and it was a cosy room, just enough for what I needed.

Loud, had a disturbed night's sleep due to people coming in from the center, nothing to do for kids, bar in hotel is 18+ so we were back in our room by 8.30 as nowhere to go. Came to Manchester to see Olivia Rodrigo at the Co-op Live arena however was postponed, managed to get in the cinema but then had nothing to do or no where to go after.

Close to the center and train station buce chandelier

Had a positive experience last time I was here. This time was comparatively horrible. Room was small, cramped, and away in a corner. I had booked a room with a window. It had a window, but the window was up higher than my head. You'd have to climb on a chair to look out. Room was musty and dirty. There was a massive gap underneath the door that meant light and noise from the hallway came into my room all night, meaning I had to stuff towels at the base of the door just to sleep. Thin walls meant I heard *everything* from surrounding rooms.

Been here before. Nice area, good access to the city. Hold onto bags for free when you're waiting for flights. Staff very nice.

The breakfast!! How you can carry on serving that is mental. The bacon looked like it had been boiled. The sausages were rank and the beans to say they were out of a can were the worst. I would advise not to book breakfast and go elsewhere

The property was nice and clean, basic rooms but was ok for what we needed. Reception staff couldn’t break a smile to save their lives.

The reception staff were sullen to the point of unfriendly. They appeared to feel they were doing you a favour, and reluctantly at that

Reception accidentally charged me again on arrival when I had in fact paid for my visit over the phone. This was instantly noticed by another staff member and corrected, and the staff were very apologetic for the error. This very slight inconvenience was the only issue I had with my visit.

Very cheap for such a central location, staff and security were very friendly, and the building itself is beautifully decorated and designed. Very easily accessible by public transport and very close to many good restaurants, bars and a 24 hour store.

Upgraded for a window room, the window didn’t open. The taps in the bathroom were broke and they constantly ran. The shower was extremely hot with no cold option. “Full English Breakfast” is not a full english.

Despite arriving late due to horrendous traffic, and making this known to staff, families (fair enough) and people on business/diplomatic duties seemed to be given priority at check in, even though my check in would be very quick. Also, the room was very noisy… both from drunks walking down the corridor and a fan in the bathroom. Some evidence of damage in the bathroom too Additionally, the fire alarm/smoke detector light in the ceiling was very annoying. Local parking was expensive.

    Location was good. Interesting building

The room’s shower was designed poorly. every time the shower was turned on, it sucked in the shower curtain so it was a battle against the curtain while trying to wash. also, the soap box was right where the hips are so didn’t leave much room to stand.

    Great location and cheap price.
