We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaEntrance and stairs inside smelled of smoke. I found the third party agency frustrating to deal with. They don’t seem to be set up to deal with bookings through anything other than their own website. I got endless standardized messages, many with information that didn’t match the Booking.com conditions I had booked under. About 10 days in advance they agreed to a one hour extension to checkout time and then said no when I messaged to confirm the time the day before checkout. I hope they’ll sort these glitches out in future because the apartment itself was lovely.
Lovely bright spacious apartment, as pictured, with great views. Very clean and well equipped. Very quiet but yet close to town and the beach. On street parking wasn’t a problem in April, May be busier during peak holiday times?

People also need to be made aware that there are 55 stairs to the apartment. However a fabulous surprise when we entered the beautiful apartment

United KingdomThe master bedroom needs a chest of drawers or similar for storing items that can't be hung and television programmes were difficult to negotiate due to a poorly set up hand control. These were very minor issues. Sadly, the entrance to the building was tatty and insecure, the stairs leading to the apartment were very dirty and damp smelling, this could easily put customers off. Thankfully, the odour stopped outside the apartment.
The apartment was modern, clean and well appointed. It had all of the items we required for a pleasant stay, including linen, bath and shower gel, coffee, tea and sugar and even a pint of milk. The view was superb and the information we received was concise, accurate and appropriate. The apartment complex was quiet and restful and sound proofing was very good.
