Parking is a bit of an issue with being such a popular location. Nothing can really be done by the host but more to be aware of if you are visiting.

Room only but this was great with so much choice for eating out in the local area. The location is perfect being so close to the town. It is also only a short walk to the more popular Bowness.

There was no breakfast as such but the instant porridge was actually lovely combined with the breakfast bar kept us feeling full until dinner time. Parking was interesting. Free if you could find a space which we did on the 2nd day. A whole day was 9.40 and a whole night was 1.20. Lovely room clean and comfy. Bit warm for me so I just turned off the radiator and opened the window. Dad liked the radiator on next to his bed. Thank you for a lovely stay would love to stay again xx

There is nothing not to like. It was great.

It was amazing. Traveling with my adult daughter we felt like we were at home. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The room was everything that was promised and it was perfectly cozy.

Couldn't fault anything

We arrived early and asked if we could drop our bags off before checking in to go and explore. We were greeted by a lovely lady who advised our room was ready. Amazing as we was 2 hours early.

Parking was a bit of a challenge. However, there's a car park across the road where you can pay for overnight stays.

Beautiful little B&B near the centre of town. Our room was lovely and very comfortable and our host was a delight. Perfect place to spend a few nights in the Lake District.

From our room we could hear showers and toilets flush from other rooms but this wasn’t during ‘sleeping hours’ so didn’t disturb us.

Fantastic location for both Windermere and Bowness where there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the king suite which had everything we needed including a heated blanket which was perfect when coming home after a chilly walk. It was the little touches that made this the perfect property to stay at, our room was tidied at 11 each day and we even had our pjs neatly folder - super cute! Easy access to our room and the property during the day/night and we knew how to contact the owners id we needed them.

Homely feel, Dawn was very attentive and lovely caring person, the room was beautiful and it was in a lovely quiet area. The mattress was amazing and comfortable we need one at home. Even their was no breakfast we did have porridge pots and cereal bars in our room which we loved it was a nice touch and not expected, We would definitely recommend, thank you for a lovely stay we just wish we could have stayed longer xx

There was nothing we didn't like

Broadlands is in a fantastic location, literally a few steps from the high street and a mile walk to the Lake. Beautifully decorated rooms which are really comfortable and warm. The hosts has thought of everything. Although no breakfast as it's room only accomodation the hosts leave complimentary breakfast items in the room. The rooms are very clean and are tidied every day. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will certainly stay here again.
