Nothing....it was lovely and homely, whilst being private and quiet

Loves the location, the couple who own it were most friendly and helpful. The garden is large and very picturesque with plenty of comfy seating and tables and a really lovely place to relax after a long journey or day out. The facilities were great ( even though we only stayed the one night) and breakfast saw us through to lunchtime when we went out. Would easily recommend and would definitely use again for a longer stay

My only concern is the sloping floor in the living room - a bit of a hazard for anyone who is not very stable.

Great facility - more like an apartment than a B and B room. Christine and Ted very welcoming. A wide selection of continental breakfast items were on offer which we could pre-select and were delivered to our room so we could have breakfast when we wanted. There's a microwave and small oven (no hob) so it would be feasible to do basic self-catering. We liked the snuggly dressing gowns and thought that was a nice touch. Weather was terrible so we couldn't sit outside but did get to see round Christine and Ted's lovely garden when we checked out.

Everything perfect. Lovely hosts, fabulous accommodation in a cottage style suite of rooms with roses around the door and spotlessly clean. Great choices for continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

The only negatives were very minor - as there is a kitchen facility and we decided to eat in - there were no condiments. Also, the wifi did not connect but we didn't make a fuss - can do without it for one evening.

Breakfast was continental of sorts and was delivered to you the night before. The setting was peaceful and the beds were so comfortable - great night's sleep.

I didn’t realise it was a twin bedroom… but for one night it didn’t matter!

we had our own little kitchen and lounge area. Very good value for money. location was great, close to lots of things to do. The garden you can sit in is lovely! Christine made us very welcome.

breakfast was continental but good choice which you ordered each day. Location was good for us and we were given recommendations of where to visit and eat. Which we took and had a great day out and meal on the way home. We plan to go back again.

They did say there internet connection was poor due to being in the countryside, and we could not get the internet. And on my phone i could not get even phone calls but my sister could get some service. That was the only problem and not there fault.

It was a quaint cosy place. It had parking, It was in the countryside on a working farm with all the farmyard smells. It was big enough for two people and had most of the thinks you want and need. It suited us well, but you need a car to get around.

Patio area undergoing work at the moment - was not aware of this prior to arrival. WiFi reception was poor but we were advised of this on arrival - mainly due to location in countryside

The shower was difficult to start.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spotless, linen and soft furnishing were good quality. Continental breakfast was good.

Nothing bad to say

I would highly recommend a short stay here but once you have experienced this lovely little cottage you wish you could stay longer. Such a beautiful cosy self contained little cottage. I really can't wait to come back and visit. Christine is lovely and welcoming too. I didn't get to meet Ted but we spoke on the phone he seems just as lovely too. This place definitely exceeded my expectations 😊

Nothing but would suggest that the hot water system is reviewed as it wasn't4 enough to do washing up correctly so had to boil kettle.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was a nice stay.

Christine and Ted were very friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal for optimum peace and quiet and the room I got was excellent. I had access to my own lounge area and bathroom. It was almost like having your own apartment. It was an excellent stay and the Continental-style breakfast was ideal for me. Top marks and thank you so much, Christine and Ted. I would definitely stay again.
