The house and host are amazing, bryn Derwen is a fantastic house and decorated to a very high standard, it has everything you could need, and Gordon was a fantastic host who was extremely helpful and attentive

Ideally there would be an extra loo! Very minor but it would have felt a little more private if there were blinds at the kitchen/ conservatory windows as the property was overlooked by the hosts’ house.

Beautifully decorated throughout with no detail left out. The hosts clearly take a pride in their property with new carpets, comfy beds and super high tech sound system and lights. Friendly, helpful hosts who were so generous and on hand to answer any questions. We would definitely return in a heartbeat!

A downstairs toilet would have been the icing on the cake but by no means spoilt the stay.

The interior decor is fascinating lots of wooden sculptures and carvings everywhere you look there’s something different and interesting. Loved the use of technology around the home, Sonos sound system and Phillips lighting system were very impressive.

Couldn’t fault anything.

The location is good for Anglesey and Caernarfon and the main route for North Wales towns Llandudno etc is close by. The house was amazing. The attention to detail is incredible. So welcoming and comfortable. I have had the privilege of staying all over the world. This is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in. Absolutely a 10/10

A stunning property,we are all blown away by the high standard and it was incredible value for money. Beautifully furnished and presented, immaculately clean. We had everything we could have needed and more...bread& butter/ milk/ juice and drinks provided. Toiletries and other bathroom items provided,as well a huge number of towels being available and the large jacuzzi bath was a bonus 👍 One bathroom for the 6 of us was fine,as we're family & we knew this when we booked . Great hosts in Paul and Gordon....on hand for our arrival to show us around and responded quickly to queries. They also generously let us delay our departure, as well as leaving me a card/ gift to help the celebrations over the weekend. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a good base for Snowdonia/ Caernarvon etc Thank you guys for a lovely weekend...❤️❤️

Gordon and Paul are very friendly, helpful, professional and kind host. not often you meet a lovely host like them and not often you get to stay in a accommodation that is so clean, comfortable. facilities in the house was great and very high standard. location was fab - easy to get to everywhere. Bedrooms could have been bigger (really nit-picking) but we only used two rooms so could keep some of our stuff in the other rooms.

Very modern with all the equipment and gadgets you can think of. Very nice kitchen and living area. The pictures does not do this place justice.

The fact we couldn’t stay longer.

Everything was brilliant. Everything you could want from a cottage/home stay. The hosts were amazing and could not do enough for us (Thank you). House had absolutely everything you need and still feel completely at home. Location is excellent…Snowdon on your doorstep and Caernarfon a stones throw away in the other direction. If it’s available…You’d be mad not to book Bryn Derwen.

The most wonderful hosts you will ever meet, so friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful, it has everything and more you could possibly want, the beds are so comfortable, I was lulled to sleep by sheep and woken up by chickens. it is set in the most breath-taking location with views of the hills/mountains. The little touches make this house exceed all expectations from the milk and bread thoughtfully provided for you, the chocolates, the gin selection, it was an amazing stay and I wish we could have stayed longer. We will go back. I cannot rate this property and its hosts highly enough. thank you for a perfect mini-break.

If I could have 1000 words to describe how wonderful this place it, it still wouldn’t be enough words! The house is beautifully decorated and has a very luxurious feel to it. Everything we might have needed (and more!) had been provided, with many personal touches from the wonderful and friendly owners. Also, it’s a paradise for technology/gadget lovers! We were both a little in love with the view of the mountains from the sun room. Not the worst view to have while eating your breakfast! Thank you Paul and Gordon for a lovely stay 😊

nothing was to dislike.

it is a beautiful house with a lot of space and finished to a really gorgeous spec. The bathroom is phenomenal and the jacuzzi bath lovely. Everything has been thought of from an abundance of towels to toilet roll.The decor is lovely and beds comfortable and lots of space to unpack. The Sonos and lighting is fancy!! Paul and Gordon are kind, generous hosts and so helpful.

The house was immaculate and full of everything you might need, with amazing views of the mountains. The host was very kind and helpful, and the location was perfect for climbing Snowdon. There was a nice pub within walking distance serving good food and drinks. There are bus stops nearby if you want to travel to Caernarfon or Rhyd Ddu and want to leave the car.

Everything the house is beautiful and has all the high tec you could want. My host was wonderful. Nothing was to much trouble, and gave me tips on where to eat and visit. The attention to detail in the house is amazing. Would definitely recommend.
