Bucket Lock Cottage is lovely. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The location is perfect for a relaxing rural stay but is still close to local tourist attractions. The cottage was very cosy, clean and had everything we needed.

A gorgeous cottage in a wonderful location with great hosts. So nice to relax in front of the fire after a lovely walk along the (very muddy!) towpath to the excellent pub/restaurant.

Nothing, lane to cottage very narrow but worth it.

Fabulous, lock side of canal, near to Warwick castle. Nice walk along canal to pie pub, well recommended.

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave such a beautiful place :)

Bucket Lock Cottage was right by a lock on the canal, it was really lovely watching people going by on canal barges, etc.. It was a fantastic place to stay and had absolutely everything that you could want. Fixtures and fittings were of a high quality and it was very comfortable there. You could take a short walk to a local pub up the canal (the pub is also on the canal and I recommend a visit). The owner met us and accommodated a specific request which was very much appreciated by us. He went through everything and was on hand if we needed any more information. Communication was excellent. We couldn't fault the stay, it was fabulous.

Some small changes of level between rooms, that caught us out until we got used to them.

There were lots of cobwebs which could have been hoovered before our visit. There was a definate damp smell which was difficult to get rid of even by lighting the scented candles. The shower did not drain for a long time so you ended up standing in a couple of inches of water.

For the money the accommodation is looking a little tired. Integrated fridge had the door missing and some interior kitchen lights not working. Front door area in need of total revamp..

The location on the canal was excellent and the owners very nice. Good sized holiday let

Stunning cottage in beautiful location. Perfect for my autistic son and I to relax in. Cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable. Enjoyed chilling in the very comfortable living room watching boats go by and listening to fresh running water. Once my son had gone to bed I indulged in a log fire - bliss!

Property was larger than we expected, well equipped kitchen, , plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time with family. Lovely to watch barges go by the window. Area very peaceful and quiet. Would happily recommend this property.

All great.

Fantastic location, well equipped spacious and really comfortable lock side cottage. Short walk up the canal path to the nearest pub - 20 mins -and easy driving to Stratford, Warwick, Kenilworth... but such a lovely location that we spent time at the cottage just watching the boats. The owners are nearby but not intrusive and were really helpful. Would happily stay there again.

We wanted somewhere special and away from the crowd. This place is set in beautiful countryside and is very comfortable. sandy gave us great advice and offered all manner of help. It was a unique occasion for us as three friends came together for the first time in five years.

No hot water in the en-suite (a little grand to call it that) Summer lightweight duvets would be a good idea for heatwaves

Breakfast was not included but a nice basket of goodies was left. It would be helpful to leave a small jug of milk given the location away from shops

Nothing to not like!

The cottage is beautiful and in a fabulous area. It's a lovely location close to Warwick Castle and lots of other great places. The owners were very friendly. Everything was in the cottage to make it a comfortable stay local pubs with great food and locals all helpful and friendly. Loved watching the canal boats in the lock right outside the cottage.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The location was fabulous, canal barges going through the lock right outside the window.. The property had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, a lovely welcome from the owners. We walked along the canal to the Fleur-de-lys pub which was very nice.

The setting of the cottage was rather idyllic. It was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Spacious kitchen diner, living room and bathroom. We loved sitting by the little stream and also enjoyed walking along the canal and watching the canal boats.

Nothing! It had everything you could want and more

Its a beautiful cottage in gorgeous surroundings, we felt like we was tucked away from the hustle of daily life and loved listening to all the birds and the sound of the canal. There's also a private garden that has a stream running along it. It really felt like home from home. We felt relaxed from the moment Paul greeted us until leaving.

Plenty of parking space. Friendly and helpful owner who gave us a guided tour on arrival. Welcome basket of goodies. The cottage was very comfortably furnished and well equipped. Beautiful tranquil location, with the added bonus of being able to watch narrow boats going through the lock right outside the house.
