Hot water didn't come on till 2000. But host did say that they could switch on earlier if needed.

Large room, beds and seating area. Had electric fire and heater to ensure warmth (we were cycling Castles & Coast). Large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Separate entrance to use. Amazing host. Amazing breakfast at a flexible time - provided muffins etc for the day. Dry place to store bikes.

The B&B is central to various activities (Bamburgh, Holy Island) and it is easy to reach and find. I had a very warm welcome with an amzing room and great facilities. The breakfast was varied and very, very tasty. Kim is just an amazing homemaker!

Probably the best B&B we have stayed at, superbly comfortable thanks to Kim’s thoughtfulness and kindness. Wonderful breakfasts and Kim’s light bite to end our stay. An atmosphere of peace and calm. We hope to return.

This was our first time in Northumberland and also staying at Buckton Farm so no matter how much research you do there are always some concerns before arrival. The welcome from Kim and her husband put those to rest immediately on arrival. The room is incredibly spacious, with great views from the bay window, the bed large and comfortable, bathroom well equipped with a strong, hot shower and the breakfasts…. welll, they took most of the day to digest!! Fabulous. Kim was also very knowledgeable and helpful about local places - good walks, places to visit, pubs etc.

It was all perfect. Nothing to dislike.

A fantastic place. The bedroom was enormous with extremely comfortable beds. There were 2 comfy chairs and coffee table at the window which overlooked the glorious rolling countryside. There were lots of little extras such as a welcoming cake. There were lots of different teas and coffees and fresh milk in a tiny fridge. The separate bathroom was very large with walk-in shower and a bath. There was a generous supply of shower gels and shampoos as well as beautiful body and hand lotion along with face cloth. Breakfast was amazing. There was the usual cereals, fruit and yogurt and juices. Then we had bacon, sausage and tomato and boiled egg should we wish. There was the usual toast and homemade preserves and homemade scones and muffins. Amazing!

I genuinely don't think that we disliked anything, the bathroom and shower area were fantastic.

Breakfast was just incredible, with a great choice on offer, the bedroom was beautiful and every little detail thought of. The view over woods and fields was so relaxing, Kim went out of her way to make our stay feel so friendly and helpful, she is a kind , generous host and we could highly recommend staying at this farm.

Genuinely nothing

The location was fantastic and convenient for everything we wanted to do. The host, Kim, was very kind and helpful and passionate about making our stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfast was phenomenal and surpassed expectations. The little extras dotted around the room really made the stay luxurious and pleasant. The food recommendations (we tried two places) were spot-on and Kim is very keen to make sure her advice is a personal recommendation. All in all, would very happily return again without hesitation.

FANTASTIC LOCATION TO EXPLORE NORTHUMBERLAND. BREAKFAST DELICIOUS AND OF THE VERY HIGHEST QUALITY. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR KIM AND GAVE US GREAT ADVICE ON DAYS OUT AND WHERE TO EAT IN THE EVENING.

Everything. Kim is a wonderful host, very lovely lady. The rooms were of the highest standard, well equipped with such attention to detail with lovely added extras. My goodness breakfast was fabulous! More banquet than anything. Felt very spoilt and looked after. It was like staying with lovely family.
