On the A40 so a lot of road noise at night especially if you needed the window open. The wi-fi was hit and miss connecting. The room needed a better cleaning schedule with dust on the bed frame and hairs on bathroom floor and back of toilet.

Convenient for 5 minutes walk into town. Hostess was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Only reasonable recently opened after being closed for some time. Previously been a Chinese restaurant. So it was a work in progress. Unfortunately there wasn't an evening meal available.

Some decor could be updated due to age of items. But I am aware the owners have only had the place for a few months so are working through to get it how they want it.

Excellent breakfast. Location close to town centre. Excellent soundproof glazing in the room, couldn't hear the traffic. We chose jacuzzi suite, recommended. Andrea very attentive throughout our stay.

The breakfast in my opinion was outstanding both mornings.. The walk into Burford was about 15 mins. very steep hill to walk back .fine for us though .

Comfortable bed, individual furniture, good tv, jacuzzi bath, very nice breakfast cooked to order. Location on A40 excellent so avoiding Burford traffic, yet easy to walk in to Bfd, also good zoos Cotswolds etc nearby.

Nothing, it met our needs.

Exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast really was lovely. The breakfast area was very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were adequate as you do not spend a lot of time in them. My husband found the bed comfortable but I prefer a firmer mattress. Bathroom was quite spacious, shower was good and there were plenty toiletries for you to use.

Beautiful period property, in the heart of Burford and easy access to the Cotswolds with parking. We were given a warm friendly welcomed by host Andrea on arrival who looked after us our entire stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Truly excellent hosts. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Room which was just marvellous, the bed was huge and so comfy. Need a taxi to get to the other side!! A luxurious room. The room had a hairdryer, tea, coffee, water, biscuits. Also, couldn’t hear noise from other rooms which was great. The breakfast was very tasty and well cooked. The bar in the evening was a nice touch before bed. Soon an onsite restaurant. We look forward to visiting again.

We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, we had a good night's sleep. The location was good, Burford High Street was a short walk away. Will definitely go back.

Burford Lodge Hotel is warm and welcoming, with plenty of parking. Cosy furnishings in the guest and a bar area. Great choice at breakfast , all freshly prepared. Comfortable bed and pillows, bath and shower with complimentary toiletries, big white fluffy towels.

There was no wardrobe, so lack of hanging space, just some hangers on hooks which worked okay, but if you we were staying longer would be a problem, also no chest of drawers, even a small one would have been good.

Good location for us for visiting family, very clean and tidy rooms, lovely warm friendly welcome when we arrived and very helpful at all times. Breakfast was great, and all freshly made. We would definitely come again.

Nothing to dislike.

Central location. Easy walk into Burford and easy access to the Burford Garden Centre. Also into Oxford. The park and ride is fab. The owners are very friendly, efficient and very welcoming. The housekeeping lady is also a consummate professional. They make you feel very welcome.

Breakfast was great and served hot, usual quality full English breakfast. Restaurant whilst being small, is cosy and charming, exposed beams, brickwork, and brass fixtures. Room was a suite with double doors into it, a super kings sized bed, fantastic spacious room with sofa and large new looking bathroom. There is also a sun terrace (new) and once furnished with a table and parasol will be great for sunny days.
