My only complaint was that the bathroom light and fan were triggered by motion sensors and took too long to shut off -- and you didn't have to even enter the bathroom. I triggered them by bending over to tie my shoes sitting on the bed. They no longer have a restaurant, but a sister property 5 miles up the road offered a restaurant discount for Burlington guests.

Room was very cozy but comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and you couldn't beat the location 20 yards from the water. Good value for the money.

The room was a little on the cold side however we did stay when it was very cold outside.

We loved the location and the view from the rooms and restaurant were amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The breakfast was also very tasty and delicious.

Some of the electrics didn't work in our room but we managed to charge everything. Didn't realise until late otherwise we would have mentioned it and I'm sure they'd have sorted it.

Tiny bathroom - not only taking into account that we had chosen and paid for the higher-priced superior room. Tub/shower combination splashy and rather for small, slim, sportive persons. One of the beautiful old wooden windows was not locked, though pulled down all the way, so we did not double-check at arrival. Luckily nothing missed when we left.

Stunning views of Whiting Bay from our beautiful, spacious room just next to the main entrance. The pictures online suggested the room would be one level up, but it was even nicer to just walk into our room without having to mount our luggage up the stairs. We even went for a swim at the beach located just across the road. Great place to go for a run, as well. The bed was big and comfortable. USB-charging plugs came handy. Breakfast was great and the waiter very polite.

the room was lovely, had tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, the bed was SO comfy, had a very lovely sleep. The surrounding area was gorgeous, being just across the road from the sea, and we could see some early morning swimmers in the sea. An overall wholesome experience.

Everything was great. The hotel was very clean and located right next to the sea. The room is spacious and it has everything you can need. It was also warm and cosy. Breakfast was great, fresh and tasty.

Although the check in was unstaffed there were no issues and everything was left organised. Just collect door code and get settled. Our room with sea view at the front was really comfy. Staff at breakfast very welcoming and plenty to eat and good choice. Due to our ferry being cancelled we stayed a second night and although that room was less favourable it was still perfectly adequate.

The place was very modern even though it has the charm of a 1900’s property outside. The room was spacious and bathroom was quite big. The breakfast was good as well.

The toilet was leaking the whole time we were there. The staff were obviously aware of it as there was a towel and bowel there to catch the water.

The room was lovely with a great view. The bed was comfy. Plenty of room for the dog bed.The en-suite was modern. Breakfast was delicious.
