Excellent breakfast cooked by John. He introduced us to the local biscuits made on the island, they are really yummy and we bought packets to bring home too! As we had heavy suitcases, John very generously brought them down to the bus station in his car for us. A great guy!

Definitely the best BnB I have ever stayed at. This is where I would recommend those visiting the island to stay. I couldn’t flaw any part of the service or facilities. It was exceptionally clean, and we felt very safe. Perfect location, very pretty interior also. Breakfast was very quick and to a very high standard. The photos online don’t portray just how perfect it is! John should be proud of himself!!

Both John and his partner are lovely and couldn't have done more to help us enjoy our stay , from pointers on birdwatching locations to the balloons in the room for my partners birthday , they even left us a card when we left which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. The rooms are spacious and immaculate with really cute decor throughout. The property is located on top of the harbour hill so we woke to sunrises over the town every morning which was beautiful.

This bread and breakfast is simply perfect. A little white house up on the hill, from where you have the beautiful view of Tobermory's Bay. You feel at home. There are two guest rooms on the first floor, cozy, comfy, and cute. The bed is amazing. Everything is clean, and even the most little details are carefully tended. There's a kettle with tea bags, coffee, and biscuits. And there are plugs near the bed! This might seem a bit unimportant, but I swear I've been in places where the only plug to charge your phone was at the other end of the room. I loved everything. The bathroom is spacious so you don't have to put one leg inside the loo to have a shower, like in most of the hotels I've been to lately. It's flawless. Downstairs is the breakfast room and the food is delicious. John, the owner, is an amazing person. I had some difficulties getting to the island because of the weather and he was in contact with me all the time and kept sending me updates about the ferry situation. Finally, I took a vessel that arrived too late to catch the bus to Tobermory, so he came to pick me up at the ferry terminal. Sweet! He's always willing to give you some information or whatever you need. Aaaaand, there's a cute dog named Toby, a very good boy. They don't let him be around the guests, so you don't see him often, but John always lets me say hello to him because I love dogs and he is adorable. I'm sure I'll come back to this place and stay longer.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The only think that would have made it even better was a power shower rather than electric - although it's probably better for the environment having an electric one.

The property is of a high standard, very comfortable. John was lovely and breakfast was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the coffee, it was great that he had decaf options for proper coffee :)

Everything was perfect.

Nothing was too much trouble for John and everyone had the most wonderful stay. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful cooked breakfast and all the options on offers for those who wanted a continental breakfast. We all had the best sleep in comfortable beds. The B&B is extremely clean. You won't find a spec of dust. John got in touch before our stay to alert us regarding the winter timetable for the ferry. When it was time for us to leave, we planned to leave at dawn to catch the first ferry and John offered to wake up to cook breakfast for everyone. We added a child to the booking and were due to pay the extra upon arrival and John didn't charge us in the end. A great thoughtful host. John knows the island well and can give great advice on activities. We highly recommend his B&B and hope we can return someday.

Having to check out and come home.

From booking to checking out our hosts were friendly and attentive, nothing was a bother. John and Robert's house is beautifully decorated, warm, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Breakfast prepared by John was delicious. The atmosphere was at all times welcoming, even Toby the dog was happy to see us and say hello. We highly recommend booking Burnbank Bnb. The friendliest, loveliest Bnb we have stayed in. We will be back.

John and Robert are excellent hosts who run one of the best BnB's I've ever stayed at. It only has two guest rooms so you know you're going to get looked after by John and Robert. They are both very kind and helpful, providing all recommendations from food to walks to pubs. John also cooks a mean 'Full Scottish Breakfast' if that's what you like, other options available. They also have a lovely dog who is very friendly. I would recommend staying here when visiting Mull to get the best experience!

Stayed for 3 nights at the wonderful Burnbank, host John was very welcoming with suggestions on walks to do from Tobermory. Room was very clean with a comfy bed and amazing views. .John made me a lovely vegetarian breakfast and gave me oat milk with my coffee. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
