There's not really a lot to do in the area

The property was great overall. The bathroom is located outside which may seem a bit of the scale but it’s well furnished, very private and only 5-10 seconds away from where you stay on the brighter side.

Great property. We stayed in the shepherds hut which is stated on here as a ‘caravan’. Quite small but perfect for a couple. Beautiful area and great for morning/night walks. The hot tub is amazing and can be booked throughout the day between certain hours free of charge. The owner offered to drop us to the city which was nice and the bathroom and shower had everything required. In terms of food, we ordered in an Indian takeaway the first night and then went into the city to eat out. Please note that having a car would be more convenient as shops/ takeaways etc are not in walking distance. Apart from that, it’s been a great experience overall. Would I visit again? Certainly.

Lovely stay. The owners very kindly made us a happy anniversary brownie plate which made our week. It was very kind and thoughtful. They also answered any questions we had very fast.

The other dwellings, yurt and hut were quite close.

We stayed in the chalet with private bathroom. We had use of hot tub, sauna and plunge pool which were fab. The bed was very very comfortable. A unique and cute property.

For me personally I struggled with the toilet & shower facilities but I don’t like camping!!

The only downside to this accommodation was the noise in the morning. I'm not sure if it was because of the hot weather, however, there is a dog training field next door and the first visitors were at 6am with the car parking (on gravel) right outside our open window, and then guests continued to come and go intermittently, which as a light sleeper, was a little disruptive.

The location, facilities and hosts were exceptional, we were welcomed when we arrived, and felt like it was a home from home our entire stay. We were in the area for a wedding and it was the ideal base, with a great kitchenette, en suite and additional caravan for the rest of our party. The hot tub, sauna and plunge pool were the perfect addition.

Nothing! It was absolutely perfect

Absolutely beautiful scenery, the fire pit was amazing and the hosts provided us with extra wood when needed! The shepherds hut was so cozy and the bed was so so comfy! The doggies and cat really made the experience! Absolutely lovely hosts and the plunge pool, sauna and hot tub were an amazing addition! Absolutely worth the money for 2 nights! The stars were amazing at night from our private garden. Close to the town where they had lovely coffee and lunch spots and the pub is a lovely little walk down through the village! Absolutely beautiful

The TV is too far from the bed. The bathroom door isn't locking properly.

The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. The room is reasonably sized and well equipped for a few days. The garden is absolutely perfect if you have a dog as it is secured. The breakfast is very nice.

LOVED everything, wish my trip could of been longer.

The hospitality of the host, including (but not limited to: sauna, breakfast, woodland walk, Wumbles, and the 🐈 I had the most wonderful and restful experience. The host-David, his wife and family made my stay very pleasant. The accomodation was clean, warm and cosy. Nothing was too much trouble. The hosts were very accommodating from giving me a call before arrival and settling me in when I arrived. I felt really spoilt and looked after and had a sumptuous breakfast, with most items coming directly from the holding, including the lovely crab apple 🍎 jelly! The town centre is close by, there is a lovely woodland walk, a steam room (which I made good use of) and plunge pool for the brave. This place would suit families or single travellers alike. I'm already already planning my return and couldn't recommend Buzzard Holt Hosting enough.
