Great little hotel by the train station. Spent the night twice with my partner and we loved it there.

Nothing really - it is directly opposite the station, which some people might not like. The windows are good so not really any noise.

Lovely building and quirky design. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good quality products and plenty of it. The staff were super friendly and worked very hard to keep everything smooth.

If you are coming by car, be aware that Caboose doesn't have it's own parking. There's 30 minutes' parking outside the hotel, long-stay parking for £8 a day at the station 2 mins walk away (£8 a day on the RingGo app) or free parking if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk.

Caboose is a characterful guest house a short walk from Salisbury Station. The breakfast room doubles as a public bar in the evenings, with decor that evokes the golden age of European rail a century ago. Our room was small but comfortable, with air conditioning and double bed. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which included a good range of choices. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Caboose is about 15 minutes walk from the city centre, cathedral and water meadows, with shops and restaurants on the doorstep.

I personally do not like continental breakfasts, but that's my only downfall. Had a lovely coffee made for me asoon as I came downstairs. Can't knock it

It's was so lovely, cosy but stylish, comfortable, warm, inviting. I just loved it!

Steep stairs that should not have carpet, as it makes the tread depth too small for footsteps. Didn’t see a hair dryer

Very close to train station. Ask for a room NOT on the street side, was noisy in the evening but quiet after 10pm. Good TV, WiFi and very nice en-suite. Nicely decorated and very clean. Good breakfast and coffee. Good mini split system heat and AC. EXCELLENT STAFF

Room was clean and serviced everyday, shower was wonderful, best shower ever for a hotel. Huge bed and very comfortable to sleep in. Decent good quality coffee in the room. Breakfast was superb, best continental breakfast I’ve ever had with real coffee not instant or machine coffee. Staff were super friendly and helpful, they made mornings a great start to the day.

What a gem! Right next to the train station, in walkable distance to all touristy amenities. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was nice and cozy. Looks exactly like in the pictures. Cute, quirky and with a lot of charm. Breakfast was nice as well.
