Being a cold November evening, the property needed more heating in the lounge area. It did warm up with electric fire but rather cold on arrival.

Good location. Everything we wanted was included there. Ideal outside garden/patio area in summer.

Lovely centrally located apartment in Rhayader. Very well equipped, cosy and warm on a wet Welsh weeknight. Everything we could have wished for to self cater (although as only there for one night we opted to eat out at one of the many pubs nearby), and all spotless. Bathroom great, bed comfy. Les was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely return.

Really lovely apartment - clean, secure, the facilities were great and the apartment itself was so cosy. Loved all the little touches like the Welsh cakes and sweets in the apartment on arrival. Location was very central and conveniently there was a little supermarket just across the street. The hosts were great and friendly. We were met on arrival to hand over the key and be shown around the apartment. We had an amazing weekend and would definitely return for a future visit!

Honestly one thing what would have made my stay 100% perfect would have been a more comfortable sofa to rest my aching legs on whilst sipping wine and watching a movie!

Cute and cosy property with a long narrow garden (comes with a resident bunny rabbit) as well as dog-friendly. Village location along the high street and property is at the back and away from traffic noise. Lovely cafes, pubs, Co-op nearby, and just down the road was a lovely walk along the River Wye which was so calm and relaxing and river very shallow. Property quite close to Elan Valley I would say, literally 10 mins drive away thereabouts. Very comfortable bed (I slept like a baby), good size bathroom, small but perfectly kitted out kitchen/diner and lovely lounge perfect for a couple with a large black dog. We had a fabulous stay, the weather was great so the garden was handy for admiring the views beyond as well as watching the birds including Red Kites circling overhead - we would not hesitate to return. Just to say the owner kindly waited outside property when we first arrived as we couldn't find the property initially - thank you!

it was one of the hottest days of the summer and we had the windows open and as it was situated in the town centre there was some vehicle noise during the night but i'm sure normally this wouldn't be an issue

apartment was done to a lovely standard with great facilities should you wish to cook and was located within easy reach of local amenities and some great pubs for food also great if you are going to explore the Elan valley

so the location was a bitter sweet for me , across from co op on the main road so perfect for getting some shopping with it being self catering however the constant noise and traffic and lorries deliveries we didn’t get much sleep at all to be honest

My only very minor nitpick, would be a better door that leads to the main part of the building. I’m sure it’s there as a secondary exit in the event of a fire so it’s just my personal preference really.

The apartment was great. Really good size, great location, comfy bed. I also really like that there was a smart tv in the living room so I could watch Netflix if I wanted to, I don’t see this option very often.

Nothing regarding what we needed for our cycling weekend, the owner let us use their locked shed to store our Bikes securely. Great location, near all the shops, restaurant's, Pubs etc

Great location, no parking on-site, but 2 or 3 options for free parking very near ( minutes walk ) Co-op opposite for any milk, bread etc, Mogan's Café also only 2 minutes walk for food, nice breakfast served, all the pubs and restaurant's are all 5 minutes walk away. The owner Lesley & Neal were very helpful and ensured the Apartment was ready for our arrived, which was nearly 2-hours before the agreed access time. Recommended walks was in their folder with lots of other information, maybe cycling routes etc need adding :) ?. If lucky with the weather, there is an outside space to sit in the sun and relax. Ample standard tea bags, Coffee and sugar in storage tins, and several additional types of tea available on a tray (the normal ones you get )

The living room was nice but the futon would have been better served as a sofa as it made snuggling up watching TV in the evening a little hard - thought I suppose we could have turned it into a bed!

This is an awesome property, so well finished with fantastic attention to detail. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows were so nice we had to go buy the same ones when we got home! We found the brochures extremely useful and used this to plan some of our walks. The Co-Op is literally opposite so made it very easy to grab things to cook in the lovely kitchen!

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The apartment is lovely, well equipped and decorated to a really high standard. Fabulous finishing touches, and very comfortable. We stayed in App 3, we have a Springer Spaniel, it was ideal as we like to bring her with us on short breaks. You could easily stay for longer, if you wanted too.
