We got a warm welcome from Neil, who was happy to cater to all of our wishes (including vegan dietary choices) and was always happy to provide something extra (e.g. providing us with non-dairy milk and ensuring we have enough water in the room). The room itself was lovely with a very comfortable bed and an old school charm to it, but all seemed recently refurbished and was very clean. The location is on the inside of the fortress with the bay on the opposite side of the wall. It’s a scenic bus journey from many of the top sites in Eryri (Snowdonia), so it’s a great option for those travelling by public transport. I was trying to think of a negative aspect of our stay to not give 100% marks on everything, but I couldn’t think of anything…

Niel, the host, was welcoming and generous with guidance and delicious breakfast. He introduced us to yummy Welch bread as a special treat, most energizing after our Snowden mountain hike of 10 miles. Thanks for a wonderful experience. HOME AWAY FROM HOME, INDEED!

This was the best B and B we have stayed in for a long time, Neil and Anthony were fabulous hosts, breakfast was exceptional and the room was stunning. Nothing was too much trouble.

Really great location, was easy to pop back to drop things after shopping before going out for a meal, or a walk around the harbour, etc. Also enjoyed spending time reading and relaxing in the room as it had a lovely chair by a big window. Breakfast was tasty and filling without being overwhelming.

Perfect location in the centre of the area. Very accessible and parking was always available. Breakfast was delicious and homemade and the welcome from the owners was lovely.

Perfect location and central to the town. Lovely decor, very clean with quality furnishings, bed linen & towels. Breakfast was brilliant and friendly, helpful hosts. If we return to Caernarfon we would definitely come back to stay here.

Could only say - the weather, but that was beyond the control of our hosts!

Everything! We had a warm welcome and were shown to our room which had a lovely sea view, looking out to at sunsets and morning light, weather permitting. The room was well prepared, comfortable and regularly refreshed, the shower room immaculate. The breakfasts were perfect and our host could not have been more attentive to my partner's dietary needs. It was one the most enjoyable stays for b&b we've had.

Excellent accommodation, in a great location, with attentive hosts, comfortable beds and a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. The castle is a must do, allow at least three hours to do it justice. The whole area is steeped in history and outstanding natural beauty, we will definitely return in the summer.

I dont think anything could of been better, Neil was a fantastic host who made you feel welcome straight away, and you only had to ask him for anything and he would look after any need you required.

The location was very central, it took a 30 second walk to reach pubs/ restaurants. And the breakfasts were Ace.
