Only hint I would have liked a reading light or a small lamp to read in bed to avoid having to get out of bed to switch the bright main light off.

Small chihuahua stay cost us £25, saying that hotel stay was cheap in my opinion.

What an amazing room/hotel to stay in for our weekend hiking Snowdon. Perfect location, ten minutes drive from Conwy Town and close to other towns like Colwyn Bay and LLandudno for the Great Orme. It was around 35 minutes to Llanberis town, where we were starting our Snowdon hike. The room was large and comfortable, with incredible ground views. We were very happy with our stay!

A beautifully restored romantic Victorian property built to look much older ?(Elizabethan). wonderful country grounds with a huge swing. Made very cosy inside and immaculately presented. very large comfy bed, windows open wide, blackout curtains, great shower and very quite.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. The building has been refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The continental breakfast was extensive and delicious.

There was no possibility to have an evening meal at the hotel as the kitchen was not fully up and running which was a disappointment.

Hotel was very nice can see it's in the process of being commissioned. Breakfast was very nice indeed, hotel it self was very nice. looking forward to staying again next year.

Superb venue and absolutely amazing if you have a dog with you

The dog-friendly nature of the hotel meant that the bar filled up with various excitable dogs on leads when the various guests returns from dinner. This ruined the previously relaxing atmosphere to the point where we decided to leave and go back to our room (there are other lounge areas in the hotel so we could have moved to another room downstairs, but we were in the middle of a game of chess at the table near the bar at the time).

The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well stocked with high quality robes and towels and the bed was very comfortable.

No kitchen, the weather! No lift?

The staff were so professional and polite. They even remembered my partner's birthday and posted a card under our door. The error in booking online was rectified with a free room upgrade with no questions asked. The only thing was the kitchen wasn't up and running but that is because it's been recently redecorated and overhauled. It's a lovely hotel and we felt it was an abode that made us feel welcome and one we will definitely return too. Thank you guys for helping make our little trip so memorable
