The location is fabulous, quiet and secluded, but easy driving distance to the surrounding sites in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious. But most importantly, we really enjoyed chatting with our hosts, Colin and Sarah. They are fabulous and what make the Country House the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.

Warm house and very welcoming hosts. Our supper platter was very tasty and breakfast was excellent! Colin very kindly arranged a taxi for us and went out of his way to accommodate our early departure.

A unique germ right in the heart of cardhu. Very quiet l, spacious and clean. Colin as the the host is exceptional, very attentive and informative. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. Highly recommended if you are in the speyside

We loved everything.

This was an amazing property and our room was extremely comfortable. We wished we could have stayed more than one night. The room was huge and everything was clean and thought out. Breakfast was delicious. My husband said the whisky porridge in the morning was the best thing he tasted in our 17 days in Scotland. The owners were very hospitable.

Honestly, not much. If I were being picky, I'd say that the water pressure in the shower was a little low and it took a moment to work out how to get it running hot, but that's such a minor point and is cancelled out by how large and fluffy the towels were!

Colin and Sarah really know what they're doing. They are extremely welcoming. They have many years of experience in hospitality around the world, and it shows. Available when needed, and not in your way when not. The room were were given was large and bright, and the house has been tastefully decorated and maintained. The bathrooms are new and the bed was extremely comfortable. It goes without saying that the location is stunning, and for us, the 5-minute walk to visit the Cardhu distillery was part of the reason for choosing this place to stay. Expectations were exceeded in taking walks locally, and in the easy conversations that Colin was having between and among the guests. Good, freshly cooked breakfast is included, and they do evening food if asked in advance (we went for the sandwich and soup, which was just right).
